  1. Congrats Winterpaws Did you end up buying on the coast or further up north?
  2. Hhmmm...they are obviously VERY comfortable at your house
  3. I would have said the same about Qld Maybe it's time to move to NSW  YEAH Rural NSW Oh to dream! Its just so expensive here!! Plenty of cheap places in country towns in NSW, depends where your willing to live. I voted NSW as we have FINALLY gone muzzle free for greyhounds(after assesment of course)
  4. Oh no poor Jarrah Hope she's feeling better soon. Wobbly the Central Coast is tick heaven all year round.I hate the bloody things. Give Jarrah a hug from me.
  5. Disgraceful makes me feel sick
  6. Nope sorry MUP.My greyhounds have skin like tissue paper.A friendly dog rushing up and just having a nip can result in stitches for my dogs.I don't go to offleash areas so if I'm walking along a suburban street and my dogs are rushed at by an unleashed dog friendly or not they will get a swift boot from me.
  7. Oh no that is so sad I only drove past there yesterday coming back from Belmont. RIP Dr James Yates.Gone too soon.
  8. Welcome to my world I have greyhounds, muzzled by law and have posted here many times the horrible things people say about my greys.I try to educate when they will listen but the hysterical ones I just walk away from these days. ETA At least they listened biker girl.
  9. Nina lives in Hervey Bay but volunteers doing the pound threads for various country pounds in NSW.She does a wonderful job
  10. Hollie sure was a special girl For me it was Gypsy,a beautiful blue brindle greyhound who went to live with a wonderful young couple down the South Coast who adore her.I cried a river of tears when she left...but if she did not go I would never have had the beautiful Miss Maddie come into my home and my heart.
  11. Agree 100%.I had never had a flea problem until this year.Gave it to both my greyhounds with no side affects at all.I had a foster grey arrive from a country pound covered in fleas, gave him comfortis, hydrobath the next day and not a flea to be seen.Great product for mine.
  12. Putrid excuses for human beings We are all on the lookout down here on the Central Coast,we are not that far away.
  13. Thinking of you and Rommi today Oso.
  14. I've been told that it is highly likely that they will join or at least attend the fun runs. Also, the black whippets are a good chance to come along too. And we've been invited to go and meet them when they arrive if you want to. Oooo wonderful piccies please Kirislin :)
  15. I'm sure Stefie lives down the South Coast...maybe PM her
  16. Thanks Iggy Mum :) How proud you must be of Odin being the FIRST bi-black Ch. in QLD.What a wonderful achievment for you both :)
  17. The pups are so cute and the dogs in your sig are stunning
  18. Let's just say "all that glitters is not gold" a NO from me.
  19. Sounds like a wonderful home.Well done Iggy Rescue and a special thanks to Ella. The boys will now get to have the wonderful life they have been waiting for.
  20. I would not be giving anyone the impression a dog of mine is something to be aware of, especially of the council investigate a complaint against my dog. That's asking for trouble if you ask me. I have a sign on my gate that just says "Dog on premises", does the trick without using 'beware' etc, picked it up at our local Bunnings. I have a sign that a friend made for me (she used to sell them at the markets)that says "A BIG DOG LIVES HERE" seems to work for us.
  21. Same here Aussie  Well Stan does.Never seen a dog so excited about having a poo.I can hear him thundering up the back stairs and I know he's going to be manic for a couple of minutes.Although Stan does have a poo phobia so maybe he thinks its chasing him. SM he may have run a faster race with a poo behind him, rather than a lure in front of him? Your on to something there Trina. If they put a poo in the box with him he would've shot out and run a race record every start!
