  1. I'm sure greyhounds know greyhounds. We have quite a few rescue greyhounds in my suburb now and my two can walk down the boardwalk with all types of different dogs passing but see a greyhound up ahead and the tails start wagging madly :)
  2. Yes I've seen them post an ad for a greyhound that I know for a fact they did not have.
  3. Sounds wonderful I wish I could go. Hope the day goes well and the weather is kind.
  4. Sorry I have no advice but just have to say damn that puppy is cute!!
  5. Wow that year went fast k9A!! Happy Birthday Takoda The cake looks fantastic and so does all the party food
  6. No not at all. There's some little cuties in those pics.
  7. She will be with me for a fair while, but if it was just re her looks she would already be adopted, someone wanted to adopt her last night, but totally unsuitable and she will not be going anywhere until she is 100%, I was going to get her desexed monday but will give her an extra week to settle in The beauty of the small dog! so easily adopted! Good work once again, Lucy is sad not to have a friend for a few weeks but by the sounds of it she is totally unsuitable for our house poor darling. She'll come round, makes you wonder what her past life was like. Plenty of large dogs are easily adopted as well depends what people are looking for.
  8. A bird pooping on Ollie's head will bring him good luck. Although he already has you so he's very lucky indeed :)
  9. I did see that on FB. Isn't it beautiful :)
  10. RIP Ned. I'm so sorry Emma I know you did everything you possibly could.
  11. Jane there is a 3 year old boy at the RSPCA care centre at Rouse Hill called Arnold :)
  12. This. When people come to my house they are told very bluntly DO NOT FEED MY DOGS ANYTHING not even one potato chip, nothing. So far so good,my friends wouldn't be game when I have my serious face on.
  13. I love Colin...and the 'Long Dump'
  14. Sounds like you need some greyhounds Aussie. I have a t-shirt that says "Adopt a greyhound...lose a couch" :)
  15. Iggy Mum I have no idea so can't help but maybe ask in offtopic as there is a lot more traffic in there.
  16. Stan is Captain Snooze. He sleeps most of the day either in the sun on the deck or on the lounge. They get fed around 4pm and Stan will go to the toilet after dinner and that's it. Lounge until I go to bed then he doesn't raise his head again until breakfast. He usually goes straight back to my bed until mid morning. A walk and a couple of zooms around the yard with Maddie per day is enough for him. He is the ultimate lounge lizard my boy :)
  17. I'm so sorry for your loss A lovely tribute for your girl.
  18. Love the video well done Ollie is gorgeous.
  19. Done. Liked the page and my three fave pics :)
  20. Great shots as usual Kirislin Love 13 & 14 eyes on the lure...27 is my favourite, brilliant!
  21. Agree. I have a broken foot and five broken toes at the moment and I won't be able to walk my greyhounds for 3 months. I have two different friends walking my dogs, one who is an experienced greyhound owner one who is not.I worry each time they leave the house but I don't have a choice. Two greyhounds not walked for three months
  22. Greyhounds would definately be medal contenders in 'Extreme Roaching' :) Degree of difficulty would depend on the length of the lounge.
  23. If she came from a country pound she may some pigging mix in her, mastiff or something like that. My last foster came from West Wyalong pound and we think he was greyhound X staghound. He looked very greyhoundish but had a big head, feet and a thicker tail. See quite a few greyhound crosses out west. Love her brindle colouring, I love the brindles.
