  1. Looks beautiful :) My two probably wouldn't leave the cabin though
  2. Argggghhhh, it kills me to say this but I can't have a Grey! Scooter is so small and zippy he tends to attract the wrong kind of attention from them. When he passes on I will 100% have one, but for my current situation they are too big and not suited to agility. Blah!!! A friend of mine has a greyhound with...a foxie, a staffy, two cats, a four year old child and free range chooks :) One of her last fosters went to a home with pet rabbits!! Understand they are not suited for you though so good luck with your search, the lucky dog you choose will have a wonderful home :)
  3. A greyhound :) Affectionate, low shedding, no smell and not known to be barkers. Well my two don't bark at all. Stan is the laziest greyhound I've known but Maddie is a little pocket rocket. She would walk or jog for miles and can curl up into the smallest ball on the bed. You can always foster to see if they suit.
  4. I can't beleive it's a year either!! Happy gotcha day Ziggy, I think you landed on all four paws :)
  5. why on earth would you give your dogs a different food if they were doing so well on BH? To give them a completely different taste from lamb..I got the fish one. So what's so funny about that Are you calling me a liar or something. And at $82 for 6 kilos, I certainly wont be buying it again, especially if it makes their poos so sloppy I can't pick them up & the smell is so vile. I feel so sorry for your poor dogs...no variety in taste, seeing you have been using the same food with them since they were concieved. Well I for one wonder why you would feed your dogs anything but BH as in your own words you couldn't be happier
  6. Cheers Snook :) Link to LLDR calendars http://www.littlelegsdogrescue.com.au/2013-desk-calendars.html I always get a Greyhound Safety Net one every year but I think I need a LLDR one as well, especially as Raffi is Mr December
  7. perhaps a rescue or shelter might like that spare food.. If I get something that doesn't work out for the dogs we have here, I take it out to the local pound.. They are always really grateful for the extra good food and blankets we take out. Back on topic, I agree with others, I would suggest it is the fat content... I hope you work it out... Why would you give a food that has made dogs sick away to a rescue or shelter, surely they don't need the problems It may not make all dogs sick.. It may just be that your dog is sensitive to it... Obviously I wouldn't give something that was out of date or that I thought it was the food that was not good. I had a 20kg bag of nutro and the dogs just wouldn't eat it, so I gave it to the pound... Better than just throwing it out. I do the same at my local pound. I have given them all types of kibble that gave Stan the runs and the girls at GDP are also very grateful.
  8. Thank you I did see them and they look adorable, just think I need a little more time and thought I would feel less guilty to Molly if I gave the new puppy to our household as a Christmas present. Molly would definately not be impressed with us getting another dog having said that Molly did not think she was a dog anyway....... I miss her terribly!!! Oh yes sorry I just got a bit excited seeing a breeder right here on the Coast.
  9. Welcome to Dol fellow Central Coaster Sorry for your loss of Molly Good luck on the search for a pup and enjoy the forum. ETA just clicked on Persephone's link and their are black cocker pups ready to go in Saratoga!
  10. I'd knock those old nests down SL just in case you get "squatter wasps" lol
  11. I just looked it up on Where Is, surely there is someone living on that side of Sydney. Can you ask in Offtopic maybe Maree?
  12. If there is a nest spray it with WD40. It melts their wings so they can't fly at you and attack you.
  13. My two have been on it for a month now and they love it. I spent a small fortune on different premium foods and Stan always got the runs and Maddie would just not eat it after a while. Now Stan is doing perfect poos every time for the first time in two years. I get the roo and sweet potato one as the chicken and duck one is tiny biscuits. Same as you Dobesrock it's only a small part of their diet, I feed much the same as you do so I'm happy with this kibble :)
  14. Love his Donald Trump look (the comb over) I must admit to popping in here a lot to see Luka's photos so please keep them coming. I think I may be a little addicted to Luka pics
  15. Oh DR I am so very sorry for the loss of your mate Rest easy big fella, you were so very loved.
  16. Ollie is still with you SL and always will be.
  17. Have shared on FB and will post on Central Coast lost and Found FB page. We are a long way away but you never know. Have everything crossed for this baby to come home safely.
  18. Oh thats good to know im thinking about taking my girl for a trip there for a week and hitting the beach. Are the beaches there dog friendly? Terrigal Beach isn't but Wamberal to the north is or just a few minutes over the hill south North Avoca to Avoca Beach shark tower are offleash beaches. The Haven in Terrigal where the boat ramp is has an offleash dog area with the best views in town :) Zanzibar is another dog friendly cafe but it's fairly small and not across from the beach like Bellyfish is. Parking is a nightmare on the weekends but I only live 2 mins walk from the main street
  19. Sorry frufru, no disrespect intended. Yes they don't really call it Bogangar do they?
  20. Dunno Tralee. When I lived up at Cabarita there was a housing estate called Koala Beach something As far as I remember there was NO animals allowed, nothing. My dear mum used to say...well let them live there...in their sad little world.
