her coat didnt look to good, she was standing and barking at the time . The place always has cats/kittens out the front and old tacky cars :\ so thats why im worried about going and asking looks kinda rough. Couldn't see any water because she was at the top of the stairs so i dnt know if there are any down stairs. I only called the rspca cause i wasnt sure what to do, i really didnt want to call them. Mum said maybe she is sick or something but it just doesnt look right i will ask my friend if she wants to come and talk to them cause im a chicken

I was walking to the bus stop with my OH and i heard a dog barking i looked over and seen a Dogue De Bordeaux to me looked really skinny Just want to see that im not over reacting does anyone have a photo of a good size female dogue? This one looks like she has just either had a litter or is going to cause her teats are a bit saggy i can see all her ribs and it starting to see hip bones . I tried to call the rspca today i was on hold for over 20mins i will try again tomorrow(that was the emergency number too). Beside the rspca is there any other place that can go look? i want to ask them myself but i fear that they might yell at me for being nosey. Opinions?

I agree as well and i don't show yet i found that insulting. Ive been to a lot of dog shows and i also find the people love their dogs and their dogs love being at the show getting all the attention. Personally people who just breed for money i see them as looking at there dogs as objects (im not saying that you would breed for money)

Well my nan got her jack russell desexed at 6mnths old and he doesnt mark much at all but max my dog i rescued at four years old he got desexed after he already matured so he still marks. So i think it depends when you get them desexed if that makes sense.

Yeah it could be a foster pup. But id go ask them anyway

Most people on here just want to make sure a breed like a mastiff doesn't pass down unwanted genes. That is why the health tests are important. I honestly don't think any of them went off at you at all???? if you wanted an answer why is it so hard for you to take some of them into consideration. Health tests are important to make sure the pups lead a happy healthy life isn't that what most breeders want?? I don't breed dogs but i know if i was going to in the far future health tests would be first on my list.

i guess thats why they are called a bitch

I have two male old dogs they get along fine mind you they are both desexed pretty sure it could be different if they aren't  They had a few tiffs when they first met but no blood and we would just tell them to stop and they would. Just depends on the dogs themselves i think good luck

Sorry if this sounds stupid in anyway. You know how you can get a smooth or rough collie if you breed a smooth with a rough would you get a mixture of smooth and roughs or would it be like between smooth and rough? Just curious haha

Hey are they fairly boisterous as pups (like labs) or are they calmer? i know you said they are lazy with when they are older and all pups are boisterous just some over the top if that makes sense ??? haha i hope he isnt too lazy cause my brother likes to play with his dog and walk them :D so it might get more than one walk a day thats just the least amount it would get
-
She sounds like my kind of dog sadly my brother cant get a dog untill he moves out but im always looking at shelters and i think he might to if he doesnt want to do the puppy thing but he is always saying he wants a puppy He is as bad as me haha just doesnt show it as much
-
He gets his kids atleast every weekend so hopefully it wont be too bad But he is aware of those issues he will live right near a big dog park too so extra socialisation right there Im going to be going to help him pick a reputable breeder and i will go with him to try and pick the calm puppy haha but every puppy is a bit crazy in adolescence. Thanks

The dog will be an indoor/outdoor dog ;) and probs wont go to work with me everyday just days he feels he/she needs to be there :D my brother loves dogs and will most likely come home from work and play with him for a good while . I will teach him the basics in obedience so he has some part training him/her so i guess everyone likes the lappie idea i will let him know Do they do fine in the humidity ?? just a curious question Thanks for all you opinions never really thought of the lappie i was thinking golden

Good idea

I suggested Brittany and he doesnt mind them His daughter(also thought brittanys were cute lol) is surprisingly good with dogs for a 4yr old she has never pulled or tugged on my old dog and not scared of them or nothing. Thats the main reason why he wants a dog cause he wants his kids to grow up with them. Thanks for your idea just see what other people think

Okay so my brother is moving out probably at the end of the year and he wants a dog. Description: Medium to Large (has good income so will be able to feed and vet bills etc) Must be good with kids (he has a 4yr and a newborn) Will be living by himself so needs a dog that wants attention. I will take him/her to obedience for him and will probably go to my work while he works if it works out okay. Will walk him/her once a day when fully grown and he will be looking for a medium size yard. Small breeds also considered if wanted Just in for opinions oh he has previously owned a husky x but got stolen so he isn't new at the whole puppy thing but he isn't dog savvy either Its not official yet but just looking for ideas Thanks in advance i know how some of you like suggesting breeds so i thought it would be interesting to see what people say

Sounds like poison but im hoping he will be okay
