I have the same issue, my pup is 5 months old and he still just wants to get to other dogs and play when we're out walking he walks lovely beside me but if we come across another dog he lunges to get to it and when your walking with a pram its not good!!!! At training he's good and listens to me but if we get near another dog thats it he just wants to get to it and play. I'm hoping with training and age that this will get better . Good luck you'll get there :D.

I moved over from Scotland last year and I too am shocked at the difference. Owning a dog here is such a worrying, unenjoyable experience so many rules and regulations to abid to. In Scotland in was so enjoyable owning a dog and being able to go everywhere with them, it really is quite sad . I could go on and on about the differneces but I wont as its never going to change over here, and as for puppies being sold in pet shops dont even get me started grrrrr!!!!!!!

I think he's probably just playing think its something lots of dogs do. Someone else might know better though. He's a real cutie bet your glad you kept him :D

Can anyone give me any ideas why this has suddenly happened? And advice on what to do about it. He is only 5 months old and his diet hasn't changed so I can't think why this would have happend! When I say it's BAD I mean really BAD

I think you are going to be a fantastic owner to Harper and I'm really glad you've got each other. Well done for making the right decision despite what the majority of people on your other thread advised One other thing - more pics please he's so cute

I just wanted to say good luck with your new pup its so exciting and remember to post lots of pics if you get a chance your going to be one very busy lady :D I've got an 8 1/2 mth old baby and a 5 month old pup and its not easy but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I think you have definately made the right decision, I too have rehomed a dog in the past and although it was so hard at the time I now look back and am so happy I did it cause I know she has the most wonderful life and a much better one than I could have given her at that time. Sending you a big for tomorrow it will be hard letting him go but the best thing for for you and Harper.

I went into the app store on my iphone but it wasn't there!! Its just got the three other apps Equisketch dressage, reining and records. Is it not out yet or do you need one of the other apps to get it?

Hi Everyone, great to see all these gorgeous puppies and one of my favourites Sid!! he is still as cute as every I see . Rebus is changing from that amazingly calm and placid dog that I brought home into a mischivous naughty boy, he has started pulling the washing of the line when I'm out so I come home to a garden covered in clothes that all need washed again, if I leave clothes on a chair or anywhere within reach he steals them and runs out to the garden and as for shoes don't even get me started on those its lucky he can't get into my wardrobe for the good ones . Apart from these things which he'll hopefully grow out of he is a pleasure to own he trots along beside me when out for walks and doesnt try to pull, he loves being brushed and is a real sook. His training is coming on well although I really need to work on the leave it command! I started a 10wk training class on Saturday and they gave us a little bag of 'Tucker Time' treats which was chopped up liver cake that the owner makes and sells but I am going to attempt to make my own - wish me luck!! Couple of recent shots (rubbish quality they were off my phone!)

So many cute puppies Hope everyone is getting on great with their pups After much thought I decided to take Rebus to puppy classes after all and we both had a great time there were 4 other dogs there and at the end they let the puppies play just two at a time in one of the consultation rooms, Rebus went in with a staffy and they got on great both trying to hump each other :D dogs are so silly lol!! cant wait for next week
