Lucky you - because it won't be coming to Melbourne! All terrific but there is something special about that rim lit Polar Bear -
Bonnie: I would imagine you can start at any time during Feb and you don't have to do it in order either

Yes Luke, neat, but I think the pictures are crooked I am checking out your lappie/stand/replicator arrangement. We are big into portability - is it a Dell? -

I have framed, mounted, matted, loose and tear sheets but none currently on my walls I am just not a big one for hanging things on my own walls these days. If the item can sit on a shelf or in a folder I prefer that. Sometimes I collect other people's art and even then I prefer it unframed. -
I had wondered about grass seeds the way my crazy girl snuffs around in the grass and foliage, or I thought she might have pebbles down her ears. She gets enough stuff up her nose from digging dust baths

I ended up just getting the vacc for Kennel Cough today and am 'buying myself more time' to find out about this titer stuff. I did have a chat with the Vet and whilst he doesn't do the Titer testing (or rather hasn't yet) he seemed to be willing to arrange it if that is what I wanted but he seemed to think it would be a few hundred dollars, or around $80 per. The clinic's vacc protocol seems to be in line with some association's recommendations (sorry, name escapes me).
-
Been to Vet. He seemed surprised I could see the sore down her ear and was pleased I got her there today. No grass seed, but the start of an infection. Twice daily ear drops for the next 7 days. A load off my mind, thanks guys.

bumping - anyone? Off to the Vets in 30 mins. May not get the vacc done today but would have been nice to have some info to go with.

Ripley: for what it is worth if she is offering to pay Id certainly think about it. I have done lots of freebies in my time but sometimes you have to think of the business aspects. Bottom line is they will be using the photos to promote their BUSINESS. Good photos generate BUSINESS. Why should you not be compensated? They will probably claim it in their tax as a business expense? What is worth more to you: having the use of one of their vehicles for a day/weekend or the CASH which you could put toward another lens or a pelagic trip  I guess you just need to come up with an arrangement/barter that works for both parties. -
Can 'all' Vets titer test (if a client wants it)? I am taking my girl to the Vet late this arvo for something else and while there I want to ask about tt. She has had a couple C5s in her life, the last one I let lapse as I am concerned about unnecessary over vaccination. Also wondering what kind of price we can expect to pay, and which vets might readily do it in the Melbourne eastern suburbs? (going by the number of C5 reminder cards we received in the post I am guessing this Vet hasn't really started promoting tt LOL)
-
Vet will be looking at her late this afternoon. To look at her you wouldn't really know there is anything wrong, no further head shaking/tilting. Just a whimper if I rub the ear (which I am obviously avoiding now).

Some people are posting pictures at a 500 pixel size now and I think that is a great viewing size (might also help people on dial up?) Rocco: love that first one of yours from today. I was immediately transported back in time and could imagine high ceilings, horse trots on the old radio, a musty/smoky smell and even a grandfather clock ticking somewhere -
TerraNik - your picture works for me, my other half has gone to get me Oyster Beef for tea Roughcoat - good work! Now where was all this wonderfully photogenic food when we were visting? (still, I got to cuddle puppies so no complaints)
