I think its to clear the adrenaline from their bodies post "stress" or bath. Mine also shake (even though the water is quite warm) due to adrenaline i think during bathing. Very fricking cute though!

WOW she looks like she has a fair few cooking away, do you know how many you are expecting? I am slowly adjusting to how different a pregnant Whippet looks haha, I think of all the breeds a pregnant Whippet is the most different to its usual shape. I am impressed at how quickly they appear to return to their previous stunning shapes though!

Yes i am a new exhibitor showing a neuter who was neutered due to health reasons. I am now also handling a couple of dogs from the breeders i bought my neuter from and have just purchased an Aust Ch bitch who is now in whelp who I will also show once she has regained her figure. Ill hopefully keep one of her pups, maybe two to show AND Ive just bought a new show pup too. Thats a minimum of 4 on my show team shortly and Ill choose the show with the neuter class any day over a show that does not offer them. I also have a friend who has a neuter pup and several entires. She also travels to shows with her team and seems to choose the shows that offers a class for her neuter when available. My last 2 shows had 6 in Neuter in Group (Hounds). I think they are the best idea ever!!!

Thanks for the comments re Merrirose. I do like it a lot and it is fast becoming my favourite. Congrats on the positives and the stunning puppies!!! 13 would keep me on my toes for sure. Im not getting nervous yet though Im sure I will. I have a bit of experience though I am a worry wart. Edited to add a bit of experience is only 2 litters.

I was very happy with my first ever BNIG prize which was a bottle of wine! I went home and celebrated Thankyou to Bulli District Kennel Club for that!

Great names! I got my prefix through yesterday (last choice LOL). We are Merrirose Whippets!!! Ive changed my username from KcBlue to match. We are now heading towards week 6 and looking much less sleek than our usual shape
