So sorry K.... Run free gorgeous Billy

I find Drontal too harsh? Believe theres many breeds cats and dogs and crosses thereof that dont do too well on it? Certainly costs a lot when they vomit it up and is often also have adverse reactions? Have had many people use Endoguard just for intestinal worms...no probs...still researchin cat wormers? I dont believe in bombarding immune systems

15 is Grande! Your dog is released physically, from pain and wear and tear The rest no doubt lives on...for true love never dies Thinking of you and understanding such a sad selfless situation as I too have numbered days b4 the time is right to release a dear old friend. He wouldnt want you to be sad, stagger on rejoicing for having known and spent time, with such a dear friend. Sue

I`ll send you some Rozzie...that you can test drive with the younguns! Bet you`ll be cursing me when you are picking up the torn up pieces? Altho we have some now that are very tear resistant and come with a small bottle of pheremone attractant, to entice pup? Many people buy them for oldies that have to be left inside or dogs that are convalescing after operations etc.

Have no doubt she will morph into all things incredibly beautiful Words cant express...how hard the next steps are Be strong not sad for her so sorry Kind regards Sue

Sorry for your loss Hansky....I did give Rimadyl sparingly I have read about the pros and cons of its use. And I know the value of a second opinion...or sticking with a vet you trust, thanks for your post. Hope time takes away some of the pain...and you can remember the good times Kind regards Sue

Feel guilty about posting him here LB But at the time that particular Sat , that particular Vet was ready to PTS? So glad I didnt altho hes a stubborn ol bastard who`ll be around quite a bit longer I think! Strange....my other dog, George and I all have earaches/infections? All the right ear....gee they make you feel crook, like sea sickness! Looks like I couldnt replace ol George with Cordys Pony ....George wont go  All that BARF and rain water....King of the Jungle Ol Bastard George He really is magnificent....and does not look his age.... Hopin to get pics posted one day

No preservatives or too much fat iun what your feeding? What has been pups staple diet? Stick to what you know doesnt effect him in such an extreme manner and gradually introduce anything new? Not wise to fast a pup I believe? I`d feed oats/white rice cooked in water (not milk)and a lil bit of human grade mince? If any other problems in general behaviour of the pup....still vomiting and diarhoea...off to the Vet. They dehydrate and can need xtra help quickly.
-
Any change in diet better done gradually over 2 weeks.... Not a good idea to worm on such a `new start` day for puppy Try a gentle intestinal allwormer such as Endoguard Pup mince from unknown butchers can be just fat from every animal, too rich Ive also found it most beneficial to start pup off on one meat for 2 weeks at a time This eliminates bombarding a puppies digestive system and also lets you understand what (if anything) may give the pup diarrohea or allergic reactions? Everything in moderation til you build a lil iron guts and then look up nutrient value and relevant BARF books....for peak performance, theres nothing quite like it
-
Oh so you only post on here if people agree with you? How unusual, and unlike this forum Im excited that you think you got a bargain...whoop de doo :D Nutrience has 45 % mark up at many shops....Eagle Pack 30% But REGARDLESS of bargain basement...or only listening to those that agree with you Maybe theres more than one reason you cant get a cheaper bigger bag of dog food delivered to your door? Glad that YOU can tho....and your dogs do so well on it
-
Theres more of a mark up on Nutrience to the shop owner.... Obviously they can still get it in if you choose to use it. No perks with eagle Pack....just fantastic results rather than mediocre ones.

Ive had some lil dude rescues in shocking condition and used Eagle Pack and BARF The results have been better than my own dogs who are on BARF and Advance turkey and Rice.....the results are astonishing! I receive no perks besides the joy of seeing dogs in shocking states improve so dramatically and quickly......you can see the difference in 2 weeks., in most dogs.
