Yep that's it Mon, I bought the 1 litre and it was $30 (I was ripped off) but it is very concentrated. I think it will last for ages.

I will be there, hope I get to meet you. -
I just googled 'delete' and it came up with a list of suppliers. The friend that told me about it won some at a dog show.
-
My friend told me about a new disenfectant that she tried and raved about. I ordered some in and it is just fantastic. It is called 'Delete' and it leaves the area with a lovely minty scent that last for days, it also repells flies. I use it on the pavers outside my backdoor where the dogs hang around most of the day, it has removed that dog kennel smell, I also washed their beds in it.

Try feeding her from a raised bowl.

Myth: "you Cant Teach An Old Dog New Tricks"
PAX replied to mal_4_eva's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Myth 1, You can't teach an old dog new tricks. They get two 7yld Sibes from rescue (litter mates) and try to teach them some basic commands, heel, shake, drop and stay with the help of two dog trainers using two different methods. Myth 2, They test the myths of 'how to get past a guard dog'. They are going to try using urine from a bitch in oestrus, milk from a lactating bitch, a juicy steak, acting agressive and acting submissive. It would of been funny as the dog they are using is an atack trained GSD. They are braver than me, then the video clip stops. Forgot to say they are the guys form the show 'Myth Busters'. -

Heeling Taught Using Clicker & Toy - No Food

I wasn't making fun, I said he has sexy arms. -
Could you put some sort of ramp over the stairs, like an agility dog walk?

I do remember how much he jumped around while the dog was on a stay. -

I jump about a bit while playing tug too. I don't know why, maybe to shift some calories of my larger parts. :D I just think if I'm having fun the dog will be as well. I will re watch the video and pay attention to how much he jumps about. -

CTD, I loved this clip and thought it was very clever the way they edited it. Did you watch the one of the same girl clicker training a dog to have it's nails clipped. That would be great in the health section as so many people struggle with that. -

I didn't notice his hair, I was stuck on his arms. What was he doing again? -
Do You Loose Your Temper While Training Your Dogs?
PAX replied to Lablover's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I always ponder how to improve but I really don't think I ever get cranky with the dogs. I think it would be better if I was a bit more serious but when they are so keen to work, even if it's wrong how could you get angry. I have quit trying to do obedince trials with my Dobe as she is smarter than me, but I love training her at home and dog club. I am having a moment of weakness and thought today I should trial her again. We must be bored tonight. -

I think it's so he keeps sexy muscles for his videos. -
If the dog likes to run after you try the 'jog trot/, my dogs love when I try to run away out of heel position and then I mark them (I click and treat) when they catch me and get back into positon. It really puts a bounce back in their step, but they need to understand what heel is first.

Who Often Do You Train And For How Long?
PAX replied to Lablover's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
I train my eight month old pup for maybe five minutes max hopefully a couple of times a day. I think my expectations are to low because she will try to initiate play with the ball all day if it was an option and will happily stare at it as if willing it to move for very long periods, much longer than I would expect her to be attentive to me. I think I am going to start asking for a bit more but include play in the sessions. I need to take the toys away when we are not training and stop being such a puppy sucker. -
Forgot to say, one of my dogs can spring from a stand onto my kitchen benches  , I hope she will have the same spring for agility and she is only 15 kilos.
-
Why don't you put him in a crate for the three hours your not home? I would never leave my dogs (partners in crime) alone in the house unsupervised. I could only imagine the destruction. :D

Was she steady right from the start ? Or did she take a while to steady up?
