  1. Amypie, you're making my life easy... Hope you have it right.
  2. Yeah, Brooklyn is a stunning Black Tri Aussie Shep, I will get his full name.
  3. I've just heard that Bedazzled and her lovely dog won highest scoring heel work too. Very well deserved. ETA, she might need excess luggage on the way home to cart all the trophies.
  4. DOL's very own 'Bedazzled' won UD dog, Open dog, and I think highest in trial at the Sydney Royal today. I was a bit time pressed so couldn't stay for all the dogs or the presentation. I hope Deb and Brooklyn won highest scoring heel work too:)) It was fantastic to meet the faces behind the names and they were even nicer faces than I thought they would be ...lol. Both dogs were to die for . Ptolomy competed as well but her dog had a couple of tiny hiccups that took him out of the winners circle which was a shame, he was still awesome netherless. It's a big ask for dogs to come from Perth and compete at their best even though they appeared to take it their stride. Thank you so much for coming over and sharing your awesome dogs, hospitality and showing some great trialing and dog training. Hope you come back again, maybe for the State Titles?????
  5. First is good, you set the standard and only have one dog next to you in the stays. ;)
  6. I have always thought or been taught, where ever you hands are before you about turn for the Recall , that's where your hands need to stay, anything else is marked as a double signal??? Sucks, but that is what I think the rules are. Just need to train for it.
  7. You just need to use words that you are confident you will remember. I say down (to lay down), I say 'off' if I want them to get off something, I say out of give when I want what's in their mouth. There a lots of words, just pick words that work for you and remember that dogs learn hand signals faster than words. Where are the new puppy photos???
  8. I have heard the problems are with the insurance requirements???
  9. Look at those bloody ears...eek.
  10. Happy Birthday you brown nosed bitch. Give the brown bitch a hug from me.
  11. I'm intereseted also, how many jumps are there??? Just read the original post, I will take them for the same amount if Terranik doesn't.
  12. You have the best smile, and your award was well deserved.
  13. Done, now I need to figure out what to wear.
  14. Really???? OMG, I never win anything...lmao. So will my ticket be at the door with Pax on it?
  15. I would love to be there to watch my friends daughter get an award, be the cheer squad:))
  16. Sounds to me that you might need to get someone out who will be able to rid the possums from your roof and close up gaps from where they are getting in. If you remove a possum, you are just making room for another, although your roof should be possum proofed, crating the dogs at night is the easiest solution IMO and experience with naughty Possums. Naughty possums used to come down our chimney and into the bedrooms, lucky they are so cute, although my dogs beg to differ.
  17. Possums are the reason I first started crate training, the possums are safe, the dog is quiet and the neighbours are happy.
  18. I am, and am so excited. Going every day and have tickets for BIS. ;) Be funny to catch up with other Aussies there and even more so if they are DOLers'.
  19. Obviously it is the reason they have such lovely skin and coats...rofl.
  20. I love Zoe, don't be mean, she wasn't dog aggressive at my place. Poor Zoe zoe
  21. My dogs are brilliant at pulling on lead and behaving badly, I just don't get it on film. Seriously, I let them pull because I always reward keeness to do stuff and they are only light weight dogs, bad me I know, but it doesn't worry me, I live on acerage so on lead nice walking is not a concern, if I had to do it I would fix it. I will try and get someone to photograph them being feral on lead.
  22. Thanks Ness, yeah Chill is a super star but Miss R is already better. Miss R has no issues.
  23. It's a great test, our dogs should know on and off, this will let you know if you have trained it correctly. ETA for crap typing.
