Once you know exactly all the gizmo's you're buying with it and cost and guarrentees, Dept of Fair Trading might give you an idea on the extended warranty verses and your actual warranty.
I was told even though a warranty may say 12 months, you could be entittled to an automatic extended warranty because of the cost and that the ability should hold up.
That is why businesses like Harvey Norman offer these warranty extension because you're actually entittled to it, but they make money because people don't know their rights.
I can organise tim tams..........

Yep I do print out my favourites. :)
I do realise computer thing-a-me-jigs do change over the years, but just thinking of the now factor.
I do like those books, we had one made for Mother Dearest, she loves it. Great presents if anyone is thinking of Christmas.
No one just store on usb sticks?

Hi All
I have thousands if photos and thought I should move them off the computer, just in case.
I've heard if you don't look at a cd that you've burnt it will eventually fade to nothing. Is this true?
So what do you use to keep your original photos safe and sound?
Thx for your replies. :D

Might find you'd come under a public nuisance. Disrupting the public, endangering others, blah blah blah.

Love looking at your work.

Hi All
Hubby is just reading the instruction book.
It's saying set the camera shutter speed at one-one-hundredth of a second.
How do you convert that to the digital screen?
Thx
Sharon

I have an olympus you could borrow if you need to get pooches photos. It's nothing flash, but takes photos.
The jug is on if and when you're around this way.

That's what's annoying me so much I have a UV lens on it.
kja, if you have a look at the photo above you can see the mark. It's ok if it's a busy photo, but when it's plain it's very annoying.
Thx for the reply.... :)

Why why why and how how how
. Never do I put any of my lenses away without the covers, but some how a scratch is on the front of one.
Had my sons girlfriend (better eyesight  ) have a look and she spotted it, very fine scratches.
Anyone know if the front glass cover be replaced?

Go with what will make YOU happy stranger. :D

Hi All
After taking a couple of hundred photos the other day and when I loaded them I was devastated with the grubbiness. So off I go cleaning away to find there is still a mark on my next group of photos.
I can't see this mark on the lens so I'm gathering it's inside. Is that possible?
It's not the mirror as it only appears when I use this one lens.
Centre, lower bottom, to the left.
Any suggestions on how to clean this?[/b]
A scatch has been found since I posted this. Can the front glass be replaced?
Thanks
Sharon....

Thx PC. I love the shot and the comment.
We went out this morning as the cloud cover has been too deep, but even today wasn't the best. But up at 4:30
and off to Catherine Hill Bay Beach here on the NSW Central Coast.
This was around 5:30-6am.
From this pictures the clouds only get thinker and thinker. Always the way.....
edit for spelling.
