What Is The Worst Thing Your Dog Has Eaten?
Sigismund replied to dubbleyoo's topic in General Dog Discussion
Now I am feeling a lot better, his own poo seems pretty reasonable given everyone else's travails. -
Like Corvus I grew up with a corgi(pembroke) who was the 4th brother in our family. Played with us all the time but I wouldn't say he was athletic. Wonderful dog who would travel everywhere with us. We stopped once in the middle of nowhere in the snowy mountains for a toilet break after he had taken a pit stop he was told to sit and wait whilst we took our pitstop. About 20 miles down the road we realised no dog in the car. (My poor parents trying to juggle 3 boys and a dog on long road trips must have been a nightmare.) When we got back there he was sitting outside the toilet block in the precise spot we had left him, just waiting. My brother did the same going to the local shop walked all the way back again to find our dog just sitting there waiting for him. We were human and made these mistakes, he on the other hand was a a loyal dog and knew we would be back, no panic. I think they could tend to be possessive but in our case he was a real family dog who tolerated 3 very active and boisterous boys. Unbearably sad when he passed. But I am not a good advocate for any breed I love them all.

Terrible. Which suburb? City of sydney Ecology report noted the following: The wildlife rescue organisation Sydney Metropolitan Wildlife Services reported a peregrine falcon in Ultimo - residents also reported them in the CBD - and a red-bellied black snake in the Royal Botanical Gardens, while local residents reported sightings of red-bellied black snakes in Redfern and Glebe. City of Sydney ecology manager Katherine Oxenham said red-bellied black snakes are unusual in the Sydney LGA. They were reported by residents along heavy and light rail corridors in Redfern, Glebe and Pyrmont where there was still some of their preferred moist, long grassy habitat. While these could be from remnant populations, they could also have hitched a ride into the city on a train or a truck, she said. -

Thanks for the information went to your site and read the stuff there which is useful. I am afraid of your friends but was interested in the dry bite comment. Why is that the case? -
Centennial Park is ablaze with them at the moment. I thought my fella was just being a sook but they are literally everywhere.

A Lagotto, in fact has almost identical colouring to mine. I could dig up a similar photo. Curls depend on age of dog and time between cuts. Front on like that they can look shaggy. Lagotto's come in Brown (roan, white and orange) but not black.

No more puppies for her unitl she gets settled. Seriously whilst I dont know the full situation how can she contempated another when she has just had to rehome one puppy. It seems an odd choice.
