  1. I personally had the same experience previously and they didn't do anything to my dog, but they found out where i lived and decided to come pass my place when no cars was in the driveaway so they obviously decided to do something stupid..They ended up picking up a stick and provoking my dog (red nose pitbull) and we had a 2mtr fence aswell and they were like stabbing my dog and i saw it from my bedroom so decided to run out..As soon as i opened my front door my dog had jumped onto the fence and started to climb and eventually the guy started to run across the road aswell as my dog...Anyways, my dog ended up attacking this guy (8 stitches on the side of his cheek, 3 stitches on the hands). The guy took us to court and gave them some lame excuse that he was walking pass my place and my dog attacked him, but for some reason I ended winning the court case and the guy now walks pass my house with a branch lol..
  2. Always feed your puppy what your breeder was feeding them and weaning them off that slowly as you don't want your puppy to get sore belly ache and than bowel issues. I go for Proplan but holistic is also a good kibble for them, I usually feed her in the morning with kibbles followed by lunch with small amount of proplan, chicken and beef mince mixed with the occasional yogurt, cottage cheese and once a week i give her eggs. I don't give her the chicken/ beef mince from the supermarket i actually buy it from the pet butcher which works out to be $3.80 for 2kgs and it last her for a week sometimes more. You just have to watch out with her changing of diet as it can cause some issue so just keep giving her what your breeder has given her and just mix it with other food until you slowly wean her off, but i personally will be using proplan until she reaches 1.8-2 years old. Oh yeah my puppy also loves it when i come home with a nice BIG juicy bone for her with meats on it from the butcher...
  3. With previous experience runts/ smaller puppies can sometimes be bigger than the others when fully grown, I remember having a runt in a litter and it ended up bigger than the others in the long run. The only thing you will need to do to make sure the puppy is alright is to take it to the vet and do the health check especially hurt murmur, hernia, etc. Sometimes runts can have minor issues than the other puppies as they don't feed as much as the others but time can change when you feed them independently...hope all goes well, but don't get a puppy if you don't feel right about it because you will love to bond well with them at the end wish you all the best..
  4. I was in the same boat previously, they were 2 beautiful dogs and honestly they were great, but we just didn't bond. They were very friendly, easy going and you wouldn't be able to find a fault with them and plus they were healthy purebreed dogs that i originally brought for my daughter. After 5 years of being more like strangers as I just didn't feel the bond i actually advertised them and I had plenty of people interested but i wanted to make sure they were going to the right home with someone who will love them. I even went to people houses and asked them so many questions until i felt comfortable. My dogs were eventually rehomed to a beautiful lady who loves dogs more than humans and we get in contact every week and i visit her now and than and get lots of photo's. At the end, my dogs are more spoilt than what they were when they were with me. The two dogs actually have their own bedroom (yes bedroom in the house) with pics of them and they get treated like a baby. So i was glad they are with someone else that truely bonds well with them and I don't regret it. The honest truth is i never bonded with those dogs when i first got them as they were for my daughter who use to be scared of animals, especially dogs and i'm now happy that they are with someone that treats them better... By the way they were purebreed Shih Tzu.
  5. Hello, just wondering if anyone knows a great training person that will be able to train my DDB pup for the show ring. I'm really keen on making her into the show ring and probably get opinion from the trainer if she is a show quality DDB. If you know anyone please let me know in the Penrith area (Western Sydney). Thanks Heaps
  6. My breeder wanted her to stay but I just harassed her lol, no they can leave at 8 weeks but breeders sometimes do want to keep them until they are 10 weeks old. My breeder did tell me that she would love to keep them to 10 weeks but i just constantly called her lol.
  7. I purchased her of Arruga, her dogs were beautiful and i just couldn't pass Jima as she is my baby... Tracey is lovely!! If you don't mind me asking, how do you know Tracey, did you purchase a puppy of her? No, Chickens! LOL, must be good chickens hehe. I did get my puppy a bit pass 8 weeks old, she is now 9 weeks from the last Wednesday passed..
  8. I purchased her of Arruga, her dogs were beautiful and i just couldn't pass Jima as she is my baby... :D Tracey is lovely!! If you don't mind me asking, how do you know Tracey, did you purchase a puppy of her?
  9. I purchased her of Arruga, her dogs were beautiful and i just couldn't pass Jima as she is my baby... :D Tracey is lovely!! Oh yes she is a wonderful person and a easy go lucky lady...I was so blessed to have found her and am so glad to have purchased from her.. :D
  10. Oh wow, does anyone have the webpage for show ring??? Pretty Pink Please lol
  11. Thank you so much everyone, i will be more than happy to post some more photo of her every so often and hopefully she will do well..She is currently learning what no means but it still does not sink into her head that no is no..But she is a very good girl who is spoilt and may i say she probably gets fed better than us human...LUCKY GIRL
  12. I know what you mean and i understand my puppy will always carry the prefix of the registered breeder that i brought her off...The reason why i want a prefix is not to necessary breed her as i'm not sure if i will or not, depending on how she will cope as she gets older including her hips/ elbow score, health, etc. The main purpose of applying for a prefix is to enter her into a show, that is the main reason of getting a show DDB. OMG why would i be thinking of breeding my 8 weeks old pup?? That is insane, so please just because someone has posted that they are wanting to get their prefix does not necessary mean they are thinking of breeding their BITCH.
  13. Geez, you're pretty quick off the mark, given your baby is just 8 weeks and yet to mature. I know what you mean, i just like to prepare myself...can i also ask how old can the puppy be to attend the show? is it 6 months and older?
  14. From what I can gather, they have chosen Redblaze but not yet registered it. Too bad if it's rejected! RSG- I know people who registered their prefix before even owning a registered dog! Some people like to be prepared lol. Or Maybe they want anonymity when exhibiting I understand that it can be rejected, its just a hoping name at the moment..My girl name is Jima but i love the prefix redblaze but i do have some more incase it does get decline, which i know it can usually happen so fingers cross it doesn't....
