  1. I would suggest contacting your state body. We waited four months for Ivy's with no luck, contacted CCQ asking what to do. They got back to me within a couple of days asking for info on the litter ie prefix breed date of birth, confirmed the litter had been registered and contacted the breeder on our behalf. We had the papers two weeks after that.. It was frustrating to go down that path, but we'd had no response despite repeated requests for the papers.
  2. Just wondering if anyone has had theirs done at any of the Westfields? I'm intetested but am worried about spending the dollars if they look awful..
  3. I'd be interested in the link to pass on? Pm if you can't post the link. Thanks.
  4. I am another who silently followed you and Roo over the last few months. I have admired your strength & determination to make things better for Roo. She has truly been loved by you and in that nothing else matters. I hope you both enjoy your last few weeks together full of happy memories. X
  5. I can only help with the northside unfortuately.. Providing info just in case. I train at PADS (Eatons Hill) which is affiliated with ADAA, training is Wed nights for starters (you would need to be assesed), Monday nights for intermediates (assessment required), Thursday for advanced. We also have obedience (not formal) on Saturday mornings, with frisbee the 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month. They are all rolling groups so no booking. A beginners agility class is a 12 week block on Wednesday nights and you have to book. Metro (Chermside) trains on Mondays I think, Pine Rivers Obedience (Strathpine) has obedience on Fridays and I believe their flyball is Tuesday nights. BAD (Carina) does agility they are ADAA affiliated as well.
  6. My family had bullmastiffa for 28 years, they are fabulous family dogs. Big cuddley (occasionally drooly) sooks! Highly recommend doing your research on breeders.
  7. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. RIP gorgeous boy
  8. I paid $120 for a 3rd dog permit, the council came out and checked our fences and that the yard was tidy, we were granted approval straight after that (we're in Moreton Bay council in Brisbane). Council guy didn't even go in the backyard, just looked over the side fence. Their inspection though I was told they would ring beforehand for access to the yard, they don't it is a surprise visit which I get and think is probably fair enough.
  9. Maleny have a few dog friendly places... Stayz is your best bet for searching..
  10. When I was at the pound the other day, it's about $50 for the night plus a council rego if they aren't current with their council rego (more if its not de-sexed). If its a repeat offender, the cost is more, and it increases depending on the number of days it has been impounded for.
  11. That's so beautiful.. Sitting here with tears, as the shower thing is similar with my boy..
  12. Thank you for sharing your and Charlie's stories and adventures. He sounded like a true and very tough dog. I hope Charlie is enjoying hunting lizards over the rainbow bridge.
  13. Speechless.... My thoughts are with you in this difficult time. Rest in peace Buddy..

  15. Naw... He is just devine.. I think crate training will help you we didn't do it with Monte but did with Ivy and it makes a huge difference. Good luck photographing lots of patience in photographing a black cocker (I speak from experience :)) look forward to more photos.
  16. You may be able to PM Jed, they posted in the cocker thread awhile back about an older gentleman looking for an old cocker.. I hope he finds a good home.
  17. Naw baby Griffin - there is one at club I train at - his name is Gremlin lol...
  18. Play pen.. And make sure your dog can't get in it.. Our tree goes in a corner and we put two sides of the play pen round it, so it was blocked. our girl pushed the sides off the wall and raided the tree... So this year the tree is getting put in the middle of the pen with all four sides joined..
