~Rumour~

Zero is pretty cute, but than he is a husky. :D What sort of pets? It's a while since I filled in the forms for The Expo, but I always thought that it was a definite NO. There were lab pups being sold, i asked if they came with papers and the lady directed me to some man who said no.... :S, I thought it was sus. Were they from Lab rescue? They also had kittens for sale at the cat show, but I think that's pretty usual because I've seen for sale signs up at the Royal Easter Show. I thought it was a photography place?, it was one of the middle stands, blue and there was a CKC (i think it was a ckc) in a red poke a dotted dress... not sure if it was lab rescue, you could call the "breeder" anyone who was interested the guy would pull out his phone and get him on the line.... :S I just didnt think lab pups would be sold I don't think it was a photography place. It might of been food of some sort. Hypro something?

I went overseas for two weeks when Diesel was younger. He stayed with my Mum and three younger sisters. I knew he would be spoilt but what i wasn't expecting was the weight gain. I think they all fed him a meal a day. He went from being a very lean border collie to a very round one. He went on a bit of a health kick when I got back and if they look after him again there will be a very strict feeding plan in place but apart from that I would happily leave him with them again because I know they adore him and he adores them.

Ours have a whole heap of nicknames and yes they will respond to most of them- Real name- Diesel Nicknames- Fatty, Fatty Boomba, Doofus, Boof, Boof Head, Cheezel, little man, princess Real Name- Rumour Nicknames- Rumour Fish (long story),Big butt, gorgeous girl, nutter, nutcase, tassie devil She also turns really fast and is constantly almost running into things like tables, chairs, walls etc so I reckon she also thinks her name is 'watch out for the .....'

Just thought I'd report back that about five minutes ago I got her to put the ball in my hand. I had a look at that link you posted ness an gave it a try yesterday with the ball but we got nowhere she just got too hyped up by the ball. So I have it a go this morning with a container which I got her to put in my hand and slowly added a command. Once she got that we tried it with a ball and had success.

Hi guys, As the title says I'm looking for ideas on how to teach my border collie how to bring a ball back and put it in my hand. She loves retrieving a ball and will bring it back and drop it near me but I want her to put it in my hand. Has anyone taught this?

All the toys have been a huge hit in our house but I have to say with the heat we've had Rumour is in love with her cool mat. Sh ethinks its the best present I've ever gotten her And I just got a msg from the OH saying the Wubbas that were left out of our order have arrived.

I forgot to order udder tugs for my guys, hopefully they'll go on free shipping one day

Well here goes nothing these are my goals with Rumour for the year- - Continue with her TID - Work on her agility foundation skills for the first half of the year - work on her weaves so she has great entries - work on contacts so she has the best independent contacts - in the second half step up her training for her debut in the agility ring in early 2013 - compete in her first flyball comp by the end of the year - go back to obedience and work on getting ready to trial. Hopefully we can get our CCD either late 2012 or early 2013 - most importantly have fun and and continue to strengthen our relationship

I just got an email back saying they would send me out the toys I ordered and if I could just donate the ones they sent by mistake to the local rescue on their behalf

I've sent them an email so hopefully they get back to me about it

Has anyone ever had the wrong product put in their order? instead of kong wubbas I got tugga wubbas. everything else I ordered was in there.

Just got a message from the OH saying mine has arrived. Can't wait to get home and unpack it- although those cool coats and mats I got won't be much help in this weather...

Is it sad that I check everyday when i get home to see if my order has arrived when I know that it won't be arriving for about another week at the earliest?

My extra hours are at my old job. When i left I remained friends with my boss so every year around christmas time I help her out for a lttle extra cash. Works out fine for me and I love working with all my friends there.

This is so me!!!! Fortunately I picked up a bit of extra casual work so I feel better about it now :D I picked up some extra hours as well which should cover my spending (hopefully)

Over the last few days I've been trying to cull the items in my cart to get the price down. I have finally resigned to the fact that I want everything in my cart so I'm just going to have to place my order and stop putting it off

She is so focussed, doesn't care about the other dogs out. It’s all about the game we're playing. I've also just started the Training in Drive program with K9 Pro so I can't wait to see where that takes us. I took her to the river yesterday and she loved it. She is a real water baby. Spent almost the whole time we were there in the deeper water swimming around. Although she is the first dog I have seen that willingly puts her head under water (she does this in her clam shell at home as well). Does anyone else's dog do this?

love it I work with someone up in NSW that is also a snake catcher he has told me many stories of being called to get a snake out of a house and getting there and discovering that it was a lizard.
