YES! People always ask me if Lili is blind! I don't get asked if my girl is blind. It's normally just 'poor dog' 'your cruel for making her do this' (aka flyball, agility, obedience).

I normally put a little bit of Happy Paws Training Treats mixed in with their kibble. They go nuts for it (especially when the fish treats are involved).

Just putting my small brag in here. My boy Diesel ran in his first flyball comp this weekend at the Easter show and earnt his first title. He ran so well and I couldn't be prouder

Just thought I'd mention the great servive from Wagsalot. I ordered some Nina Ottosson toys late yesterday afternoon and they were at my door by 8am this morning. A question about my order was also answered very promptly

Yes sure they drink half a litre a day LOL its maybe becouse you sell it and advertise it. and they dont want you to look like a liar, give me a break will you that is the bigest bullshit i have heard. Jim1 my two borders are on black hawk and they would drink a similar amount to Sheena's two (and no I do not sell black hawk...) As has been said many times there is no one food for all dogs. As each dog is an individual and has different needs from a dry food.

I've always had great customer service from you Sway. Our antlers always arrive so quickly and the dogs love them so much. Happy Paws Traing Treats are also fantastic. The service is great and all questions are answered promptly.

Both my dogs wait in the kitchen whilst their food is getting prepared. As soon as I say 'Dinner Time' Rumour runs to her crate and waits and Diesel spins, jumps and then runs outside to wait. Rumour gets her meal first. I put it in her crate she sniffs everything (making sure I haven't hidden anything she doesn't like in it). Then she sits and waits. I take Diesel's food out to him where he is doing his happy dance, he gets put in a stay then I release him to his food it's generally gone before I'm back inside. I go back to the lounge room (where Rumour is in her crate), sit down and then she'll begin to eat. She likes to wait till everyone is sitting down before she eats. I like to think she has good manners :)

My friends two Dally's do this and just recently a fire statiion has opened up right near where she lives- lots of howling now :laugh:

Anything with elephants are a huge hit around here for some reason.

I was singing it to my puppy the other night as it was stuck in my head. My OH thought I had gone crazy and made up a special song just to sing to the dogs :laugh:

I use K9 Pro for a lot of my dog supplies including crates. For flea/tick/heartworming supplies I love using Omar's Horse Supplies Online store (yes they do dog stuff). They have fantastic service, a great range and very good prices. I'm also addicted to Clean Run but normally only buy stuff when it's on free shipping as postage from the US is getting pretty expensive

My BC was exactly the same he would eat certain premium dry foods for a while and then stop, he wouldn't even go near eagle pack. Was costing me a fortune but he thrives on Black Hawk and will do anything for it.

I think that there are a number of good dry dog foods but not every dog does well on them. It comes down to the individual dog and what works best for them. I tried a number of dry foods with my guys before settling on one that suits them and they will happily eat.

Got some mail today. I won a free photgraphy session with the dogs and a $350 voucher to use on the photos from one of the vendors at the expo. I'm excited, I never win anything

I'm in the process of finding somewhere to board my dogs later this year for a week and it's so hard to find a place I'd be comfortable with leaving them. Although so far from what you have said you are aiming for it sounds like a great place to leave the dogs, maybe I should send them to WA for a holiday My major concern is that my girl is very high drive and I'm concerned about leaving her in an environment in which she won't have any 'work' to do. Knowing her she would give herself a job like pacing around the enclosure. My boy on the other hand would be more than happy to sleep all day so I know he'd be fine.

Zero is pretty cute, but than he is a husky. :D What sort of pets? It's a while since I filled in the forms for The Expo, but I always thought that it was a definite NO. There were lab pups being sold, i asked if they came with papers and the lady directed me to some man who said no.... :S, I thought it was sus. Were they from Lab rescue? They also had kittens for sale at the cat show, but I think that's pretty usual because I've seen for sale signs up at the Royal Easter Show. I thought it was a photography place?, it was one of the middle stands, blue and there was a CKC (i think it was a ckc) in a red poke a dotted dress... not sure if it was lab rescue, you could call the "breeder" anyone who was interested the guy would pull out his phone and get him on the line.... :S I just didnt think lab pups would be sold Oops double post
