Does anyone know when the endurance test will be on in NSW this year?

Possible evacuations NSW The Dogs NSW Erskine Park Grounds are currently closed and locked during the office close down. Due to the extreme conditions predicted for tomorrow, I have made arrangements for a staff member to be available on call to open the gates should the need arise for any unfortunate evacuees who may be needing a place to camp with their dogs. This person lives close to the grounds and can be there on short notice. The gates will not be opened unless a real need arises so please note my following contact details to contact in case of any such emergency. I will be available all day. Home: (02) 4389 4877 Mobile: 0428 119 391 If any evacuees do need to use Erskine Park, the actual situation will be monitored and reviewed with the intention of providing the maximum facilities to assist the best possible outcomes for those affected. We put the ball away, he finds a stick. We put the stick away, he finds a peg. We put the peg away, he finds some grass or a rock or a bit of paper.... It just keeps going :) :laugh: Ours stops at sticks :laugh: Best I've had is a couple of our other dog's hair, before that it was a piece of grass :laugh:

I've just started training with my Border Collie girl recently for this. Looking at trying to put her and my boy through next year.

Rumour's favourite toy is which ever one I have just put away. She could have five balls that she's playing with and one that's not getting touched but as soon as I go to put that one away it's the only toy she has eyes for. She has been known to lie infront of the room a toy was just put into for two hours or so. Just waiting for its return :laugh:

Have most people found it easier to start with a bike attachment (like walky dog or springer) and then transistion to holding the leash? Or just hold the leash from the start? I'm trying to decide whether it would be worth purchasing one.

Congratulations on your 0.000. My OH and I both managed to get our first 0.000 starts the other weekend at the same competition with the same dog! I still can't believe I got one (aka biggest fluke ever) as it was only the third race I had ever raced our boy in. My OH reckons I just couldn't let him have the glory for the day :laugh:

My BC likes to 'hug' people by wrapping her two front legs around your your leg. After countless times being tripped over from her 'hugs' I've had to teach her she can only do it when I'm sitting or standing still

Four shirts, two mugs and one jumper later.... But I saved money, that's the important thing

Gave that particular man and his stall a large berth.
