  1. Sounds like you had a great time It is such a fun sport to be involved in.
  2. Someone I know used Caddy Storage they were quite happy with the finish, not sure about the cost.
  3. Smudge. She is gorgeous, fingers crossed the right family comes along for her.
  4. Like this, two very different welcomes. Can you tell which of the two is "his"? I remember someone else on this forum posting a video of their partner being mobbed by the dogs when they arrived home, maybe Nekhbet?
  5. That's a good one! Next PM  no idea what I would write with that name.
  6. Watching this thread with interest as I'll be moving to QLD towards the end of September. Haven't figured out exactly where we want to look at houses yet but OH will be working near Ipswich so about half an hour from there.
  7. Agree with this, I find it always leads to problems in time. I know one person who is really proud that they don't 'have' to reward their dog at flyball
  8. Rumour's learning to transfer her handstand from a wall for support to a person for support. She's started to offer it on unsuspecting guests  She's also working on the duration of her bow and crawling under six chairs spaced about a metre apart each without getting up between any of them for a bit of fun, she absolutely flies through them and loves to bark the whole way through. We've been starting to learn to lift both left paws and both right paws but that's still a work in progress.
  9. I dont think she's really trained him to wee on the mans leg. She's trained him to stand beside the man and raise his leg, the rest is editing and sound effects, (trickling). Yes, sounds more like a tap running  Is it Flynn liftng his leg? I've seen one of her girls do the trick and thought it didn't look like Flynn but that could just be my eyes playing tricks on me? The dog humping is Jinx, Flynn had a stand in
  10. Congrats TO. Sounds like an eventful two days especially having both teams in the championship trophy runoffs. Hope you and the two superstars get some well deserved rest.
  11. It is quite wide, it's seperated into two 'lanes' and most of the serious cyclists use the road anyway. We mostly come across people walking or running. We start at McGraths Hill as there is a car park right next to where it starts and then head towards Box Hill and back. Rouse Hill Regional park is good because of the variety of surfaces you can use. There are paths. dirt tracks, grass and gravel. Are you looking at doing the ET in August? If so maybe we could meet up closer to the date as I'm going to put my Border Collie girl in, for a bit of practice biking two dogs together :) Also seeing as you are in Castle Hill have you tried the Showground? Its a bit busy at the moment with the show this weekend. There are off lead dogs on the ovals but it coud be ok if you stick to the roads within the grounds?
  12. I don't know if there is anywhere in that facility that would be suited to riding a bike with a dog? I've been using Rouse Hill Regional Park as well as the bike path along Wndsor Road (although the dog must be used to a lot of traffic for this).
  13. I second this, Oveds have great prices. I couldnt see any Advocate or Revolution products on their site? Advocate Revolution :)
  14. I'm sorry for your loss Wendy, I loved shopping for her for SS You have so many wonderful memories of your beautiful girl. RIP Brianna
  15. I've had a number of people tell me when they die they hope to come back as one of my dogs  I know they think what I do for my dogs is over the top but I don't really care.
  16. Rumour accidentally "fell" into a puddle outside, so basically launched herself in and rolled around. Then spent the next 30 minutes running around in the rain. She is now fast asleep in the bottom of the wet shower.... I don't think she really likes water
  17. I met Merry on the weekend with her 'nose hat' it was very cute.
  18. The best thing I did when I was teaching my girl was have a couple of days break. We got to a point where we just were not moving forward and couldn't get past a certain stage. So after a couple of fustrating days I took a week long break. When we started up again, we got going so quickly that she was consistently weaving 12 poles in five days. I'm not saying definately take a break it is just an option once you have tried other strategies. eta Don't get disheartened it takes each dog and handler a different amount of time to 'get it'. When you get frustrated just remember agility is meant to be a fun sport sport for both you and Hudson, as well as strengthening the bond you two have.
  19. Nic I know one snake catcher located at Box Hill you may be able to call, send me a PM I will give you his number if you still need one. SES and RFS will only attend if they have a qualified snake cathcher in their crew. Fire & Rescue will attend if it is in the house. If it does ever get in the house etc call 000 rather than individual stations.
  20. And a quick Iphone snap of Rumour and my OH
