  1. hahaha so so so cute! That was great
  2. Hi, There is a new competition dog sport........I saw it demonstrated at the DogsNSW PR day/show.......it involves a gym/pilates ball and the dog pushing the ball around a coarse, through a tunnel etc.......maybe someone one the training forum would know more.....the dogs seemed to love it. That's really interesting, I wonder if they are doing it in Brisbane? Will have to look into it!
  3. So cute, I love how he is holding a ball in his mouth while playing the game. My dog isn't that smart to know how to kick the ball but he likes having a ball in his mouth then dropping it from standing height so it bounces then going and getting it, or sometimes throwing it up in the air and playing fetch with himself...
  4. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! My OH mastiff did the same thing! When we left the house we had 4 trees, when we got back, we had 4 sticks! hahaha my dog did the same thing to a frangipani tree at my mum's place, it looked like he had been jumping up and biting the branches off! I find it amazing how little the can get the pieces of foam from mattresses, the end up in tiny tiny pieces!
  5. Yeah same here, I love the one of Leah's Bailey, he looks so so happy with himself, like he is going 'hehehehe suckers'
  6. Here is my little terror, looking very happy with himself and a friends lab Sapper, this was a little while ago, the couch is now completely ruined down to the springs underneath
  7. Well I got my sample in the mail yesterday, really pleased with the amount I got as a sample, it was heaps! Snowy loves it! I mixed it with his regular food and he went nuts for it. I will definitely be ordering a big bag. I had a couple of questions, he is currently on Nutro where his reccommended daily intake is 450g, whereas the BH is only 350g, should I be adding some veges or something to help my dog feel fuller? I know the 350g of BH will have all he needs nutritionally but I am worried about him feeling hungry...
  8. I have been confused about this since I started reading this forum too. It will be interesting to read people's responses...
  9. I do the interceptor too and then I do comfortis for fleas. Pretty happy with it, I will try doing the every 6 weeks rather than 4 for the interceptor if it is safe, way cheaper Check at your local pharmacy for it as well as it might be cheaper. I work in a chemmart and we have a pet care range and everything seems way cheaper than the local pet shops. The comfortis for example is around $65 for 6 months rather than $85 at the local large pet store and I think most other things are cheaper too :D
  10. Those videos are so so cute. Peppi looks confused in the first one and I love Fly's puppy clumsy running in the second one. Lovely videos
  11. Bugger! Stupid army would have done that one purpose too! Well good luck with anything and I sincerely wish him a safe trip
  12. Awww that video was so sweet! So cute when she just wanted to be on her daddy's lap!! Ons from my understanding they only get a break in the middle when they are gone for about 5 months so if Harper's husband is gone for 6 months he should hopefully get it. When my partner was overseas they were gone for almost 10 months (lucky mine came home 4 months early), if they were there for another 2 weeks they would have been entitled to 2 x 2 week breaks...
  13. Or maybe he's just got good football taste . Once tennis is on tv I wonder if my boy will be phased by it as he is addicted with tennis balls. Hahaha I agree with you there but my boyfriend keeps trying to get him more excited about the NRL!
  14. And that's how pharmacies make money :D I work in a pharmacy and I know that some stuff probably doesn't work but I still buy it just in case it does work...
  15. Good luck to you and your partner. My OH did a tour overseas last year, it was hard being away from him for so long. I will be thinking about you, hopefully you have lots of friends to support you while he is away. Is he away long enough to get ROCL in the middle? I don't have any idea about the t-shirt thing with Harper but I just wanted to give you my support for a safe trip.
  16. My dog only pays attention to the tv if there are animals (especially dogs) or if the football is on. He seems to prefer AFL to NRL, I think because in AFL the screen shot is normally wider so there are things happening all over the screen. We have a massive tv too so I think it gets his attention. He was so funny the other day, on the news they had a shot of a horse race and he ran up to the screen and was just watching it and it looked like the horses raced off the side of the screen and he went and looked behind the tv, trying to find them :D ***Edit sorry for the big picture
  17. Yeah we did that the last time they were together and it seemed to work, I still had him on a long lead though I just get worried that he might lie on her and squish her because he likes tackling dogs he is playing with and sort of falling on top of them. Anyway, you little puppy is lovely and I hope you are enjoying having him around :D
  18. I just looked on google maps to see where Brendale is and it's not too far away from me (mitchelton) so I will definitely check it out. Does it have other good stuff too? I like op shopping in general and buying stuff for the house and I don't really need but like the look of :D
  19. Awww how sweet! Do the big dogs play nicely with him? My brother in law just got a mini foxie and Snowy just wanted to play with her but we were worried because he is so big and still a bit clumsy because he's only 11 months old so we didn't really let them play, just let snowy sniff her and stuff... I don't think he would hurt her on purpose but she is just so little!
  20. hahah those photos are so so so cute! I wish my dog was small enough to fit in a ramekin! I don't think he was ever that little!
  21. So sorry to hear about your loss, Benson was a gorgeous dog. My thoughts are with you
  22. Yeah I think this is a great idea too but whenever I go to oppy's and have a look I can never find any without eyes or noses or bean fillings... What's wrong with eyes and noses? All of Hugo's soft toys have eyes and/or noses. And can't you just cut them off? Im guessing its a worry incase the dog chews them off and swollows them. Yeah my dog destroys soft toys and would likely swallow the eyes or something... my mum just said to try to get ones without the eyes and nose. I could just remove them but that's a lot of effort and would probably result in fraying and then he would just be able to destroy it even quicker...
