  1. Yes Vizsla, that bleached beach bum BC ;) Ha Ha !!!! Snippy is so very kind :) Jester is certainly one very gorgeous & extremely fortunate Sammi.
  2. Awwww .....way too cute little ol'man ♡
  3. Yep, I gave up on the yelling as I think it just makes the situation worse for everyone :) Yes best to make not a sound. Everyone is already very aroused.
  4. Thanks raineth :) thats so kind of you... Sonny is even more beautiful in the fur :p but much more important he is such a gentle, loving soul... A lovely doler very kindly resized my photo & have me step by step directions to upload it as I am not at all computer savvy.
  5. Sid s a little puzzle maker then & a very stoic one at that. Dear little fella :) Back to this very funny thread folks. Sorry for the OT :)
  6. Oh that's sad Huga. I'm sorry to read this, poor Sid Very unusual too I would think.
  7. Jester is most certainly a heart stealer Snippy. I think he is just divine His coat is looking a million times better than it did already. Well done !! I would love to get lost in it  I love the happiness pic...I think red is definitely his colour too. So darn cute
  8. Dogmad, I am so surprised & deeply saddened for that poor little girl It is just so insanely cruel & so sad. Totally agree with you...Human have a shite load evil to answer for... Well said.
  9. Jesus...I was eating my lunch till I happened upon this thread... I am at a loss for words as none I can think of even come close to describe the sheer disgust I feel for this waste of oxygen & any others that take place in this total violation of dogs This is beyond cruel !!! I have no faith in most of the human race. This is a prime example why. What is this world coming to, honestly... Sick, extremely sick... my heart just bleeds for these poor, defenseless dogs
  10. Dear O dear... This poor adolescent pup Tying up any dog IMHO is NO way to disipline anything. If the clothes aren't next Vizsla, there will be a brand some brand new landscaping done right around the clothes line, guaranteed !!! I feel so sorry for this misunderstood young dog. I hope a professional, breed savvy Behaviourist can intervene ASAP. It is so crucial at this most important time in this dogs development that it occurs NOW to save a lot of heart ache down the track for both the dog & he's owner.
  11. I have an Epilepsy effected girl who is also very reactive & noise phobic. I would more than think about giving this to Stella if it where suggested by my trusted Vet :)
  12. NOT FUNNY STAN.... LOL. Im so glad Im not the only one. HA Ha.....:)
  13. This is going to sound ridiculous but when Stella is being loud in the back yard. Barking lots which she can at times. I go out & say ," Stella May, you need to be quiet now darling otherwise I'll have to put you in the dogs home & they don't have meaty bones in there. Only PAL, yep thats all !!! Think about it !!! " Hmmm.... wonder what the neighbours think about that LOL ;)
  14. Sensational !!! So smart !!! Loved the pee on mum too LOL
  15. What really gets my wick is people who buy dogs and allow them to be not dogs. They actively encourage this behaviour. Rant over. THIS !!!
  16. Thats hilarious Hazy !!! You've cracked me up LOL :)
  17. And I hate it when puppy eats poo Same here VM YUK.... my girl still does it at any oppitunity but I don't give her any LOL
  18. I also have 2 grazer's here as well. Both mine love grass as well. They have their favorite patches each day to stop at for a chop. They eat a lot & actually I too wonder why not that it bothers me PME. I'm watching this space :)
  19. I talk to my 2 all the time. Just like I would a person , probably more. Anything from " have I told you how beautiful you are today" to " what would you like for dinner darlings" & everything in between. It is starting to worry Mr BCC as I have actually started to answer myself....hmmm LOL.
  20. OOOOH yes... little miss Dart I believe. I'm dying to see her in the fur
  21. The Infin-8 is certainly not tight around the dogs nose either. The collar part is your typical martingale collar. Both my guys were trained in Infin's through their teenage period then went to martingale collars & have been in them ever since :)
  22. Simply Grand, Don't have to appoligise :) Yes I do do some 'wait' games with her. She is excellent at waiting at the gate till I say we can go through. Stel will wait forever in the back of my station wagon with the back door open, just sitting there till I release her.If I tell her 'leave it', she won't touch it. I could leave the lid off out garbage in the kitchen, she would never take from it. She excels at all of that kind of thing. But as soon as I start to train it's like, "give me the treat" Amax, Maybe Stella was switched at birth as she is from show stock  You like Stella's drive??? I'm surprised & pleased but sometimes I think she'd be in much better hands with someone really experienced. I feel like I'm holding her back somewhat as I know she has HUGE potential. I have always seen it in her. She is soooo focused, driven & extremely smart. I love her too much to let her go though so I am trying my absolute darndist to help Stella be the very best she can be. So I'm ALL in here. I just have to learn 'very quickly' what I don't know as we go along. Can't thank you enough for breaking down that heeling method. Makes perfect sense to teach the eye contact first & I would of never thought to do it like that. I know this will work with her. Plus the long NOOOOO. Can't wait to give it a go. I think once I can get her going with this, she will excel. Once I teach her a formal heel, how do I get her to do a relaxed heel Amax? I'd like her to be able to do both, off lead. She heels on lead atm. Stella has always stared at me a lot. It used to unnerve me at first but I'm used to it now. She gives me heaps of eye contact all the time. Sometimes she will just wander up & sit in front of me & look at me. Like "what do you want me to do now?" Very intense girl. Funny how you describe that boy you had, jumping on you etc. Stella does this too. Even when she was a puppy, she would come flying at you fast as she could then leap straight at your head & jump right on top of you, complete nut bag  I was forever explaining to folks why I was missing skin off my face & nose. She would nip my face or anywhere she could. Glad she grew out of that habit. Stella is exactly how you describe those working BC's too. She is very assertive. Nobody comes near "our things" anywhere. She will guard everything, including me. She doesn't suffer fools lightly either.
  23. No your right cavNrott, not all head collars are the same. I wouldn't use anything other than an Infin-8. I don't like those normal Halti's. IMO they pull the dogs head down from what I've seen.
