Ya !!! Thats good news :)

Jenna is just delightful teekay. You dont have to explain / justify yourself to me. I am not judgmental, just not that kind of gal :) So Jenna is not just a very pretty face but one very lucky girl to have a wonderful, loving home :)

Beautiful Dali ... a face full of expression captured perfectly gapvic :) Teekay may I ask what breed Jenna is? She is so lovely. Another great shot of her :)

Good news Odin :) I was wondering how you were going with her. So glad it isn't a tick. Dam horrible things they are. Just have to keep an eye on her then. Just wish they could tell us where it hurts. Wouldn't that be great. They are such a worry when they arent well. Good luck with her :)

How she is going OD?... all paws crossed she is OK.

Vet Odin...ASAP. soundx like the effects of a tick. Weakened hind legs, lethargic are both classic signs. Good luck with her OD...

Thanks SG ... It was really lovely to watch Stella warm up to the massage lady & the new Vet. She was really panicing at first but she handled it. So proud of my little girl considering it really takes very little for her to become unhinged . -

OK bring Jakey along hankdog. He might like it too :) Im still getting my head around it to be honest. It was all so simple but it worked very well. Stella actually got 2 massages because while Sonny was getting worked on, Stel was massaged again. So she really got a lot of attention. At first she was looking at the woman like what the hell do you think your doing & believe me she is an expert at throwing a dirty look. About 5 or so mins in & Stella was actually positioning herself on the womens lap so she could get her back done :) -
Same here VM....its the look in their eyes. Brings me undone every time. Love them to bits ♡ Beautiful huski ...thanks for sharing :)

Yes Snook, exactly :) Stella is very perceptive & really smart. So with the old Vet being wary of her only made her even more frightened. IMHO. Now with the new vet the whole energy of the place is light. Upbeat & friendly. Then we are ushered into consult room to all sit on rugs on the floor. No eye contact but very engaging. So right from the start it was 100% inviting . I think Stella thought we were visiting very doggy loving friends really ;) -

Well done grumpette with Dee :) Thanks everyone for your kind words :) I decided to change Vets after almost 20 years. I just felt Stella wasn't getting the adequate attention she needs. He seemed scared of her her be honest What a differemce a fresh switched on Vet can make. Stella had a head to top massage before a full physical check . All this done on the floor. No more horrible slippery table. No need for a muzzle either.Stella went very well. She was very nervous but she coped so much better with the whole visit. She amazed me. I was beaming with pride We were there almost 2 hours by the time Sonny had Accupuncture & his checkup plus massage. So it was a long visit as well. So we are going to make this a pretty regular event as I feel Stella could really benefit from this experience on so many levels :) -

Wonderful news Snook !!!! I was going to pass on some positive vibes as my girl & I blizted it the other day with a hugely successful Vet visit which included a massage & stretch session. Without incident YA !!! But you & Justice don' t need any help. Justice went so very well :) so happy for you both... -

Hi RDS & welcome, You are so lucky getting a saint baby. How exciting for you I just adore them. I'm not experienced with giants personally. Regarding feeding a raw diet. From what I have read & a giant breeder I have been chatting to, seems that as giants have such a fast growth rate, most breeders seem to choose Royal Canon Giant Puppy as apposed to raw as it is very difficult to do a raw balanced diet for a giant puppies needs. I guess you could supplement with some raw if you wish. I have also spoken to a Vet & that's what they recommend as well. So yes thats what I came up with. There are some very breed savvy folks on here so hopefully others will join in :) Would love to see your new addition so pic's would be very welcome :D

That Blackmores Osteo product is available in both tablet & chew form. I use the chews as they are the perfect shape to put in the end of their brekky kong half filled with roo mince.

My 6 year boy has recently been diagnosed with Arthritic hips in it's infancy I have had him on Rose Hip Vital for about 5 months now & am very pleased with his improvement thus far & he is looking over all in terrific condition as well. I just give him 2 scoops a day. I also give this to Stella as well as it can't hurt even though her joints are fine as a precaution. I also find Sonny has improved his movement & is much freer. Also have been giving Megederm, 3,6,9 + E & 1 Blackmore's Osteo Care Kangaroo chews which, again may help your guy. He is also taking half a Carprohen & half a Tramdol daily. Sonny started Acupuncture Yesterday as well but it is a tad early to say whether this will be beneficial to him but will keep you posted on this. While it isn't good news, it can be managed. Just a matter of trail & error to see what works for you dog as they are all so different.

So pleased darling Sumo has got his woo-wooing back Cassie great news !!! So not happy with rice huh... We don't min chicken though :p Give him a huge, healing cuddle from us Cassie Dam bloat is such a hideous thing & so painful for them. I am going to read through the kindly provided links when i get a moment as I am unsure if BC's are very prone to this. To my knowledge they aren't but I will still make myself aware of the symptoms. Stella since being on Epilepsy meds drinks sooo much water all the time. Even during exercise.

How is darling Sumo going cassie? hope he is gradually on the mend. Give him a huge, healing cuddle from us please Bloat is such a horrific thing. I must read up on it. Don't know how previlent it is in BC's but it scars the hell out of me.
