Yes I agree CavNott. We can only ask. I do keep my dry in a proper zip up hamper which does help retain freshness somewhat. If I had little ones though 6 kg would be great. I'm hoping they bring out a salmon variety of some discription as well. My 2 love fish.

Looking forward to seeing lovely Rocky kirty :) -
Yes cavNott I too will be needing to buy a 6kg pack fairly soon as I will have one going onto seniors & on still on the normal variety. They will go stale if I brought a huge bag of each IMHO.

Hi BC Crazy (love Nahrof BCs btw). No time limits on loyalty redemption, I can appreciate the time limitations. Oh that's great then. I'm 3/4 way through bag no1. So I'll be a while  Nice to be rewarded though. If you are going to own a BC, you may as well have the best :p I love them too. And when the time I right I'll be back in the queue for another...

Ezydog Quickfit Harness - Colour Transfer
BC Crazy replied to Serket's topic in General Dog Discussion
I've had one for years. No drama's with colour running. That shouldn't happen. Glad you complained about it. -
I'm liking the sound of that Had to edit just to ask Jennifer does it matter how long it takes you to use 7 bags as with my guys only 20% of their diet is Suday Pets as a rule. So as you'll appreciate this will take quite a while with just 2 dogs.

Great news. Another quiet/drug free night. Well done Yes it's got to be that miracle drug... TLC working it's magic I've just had the very same here. 2nd night drug free without incident but my girl isn't a rescue. One happy momma here too :D -
Apple cidar vinegar. Must be the good quality, organic one. About a tspoon in their evening meal seems to help :)

Oh I see... not nervy then.... Big bonus that is. sorry I misunderstood Yes to toys. Hopefully he will come around to those. My girl wasn't really toy orientated at all but I just dragged out every variety of toy possible out of the toy box & persistence paid off. She is now a toy addict  Nothing noisy at first. Different exterior textures, fluffy, rubber & plastic. Kibble in an empty plastic milk bottle & anything in between. Balls as well, tennis/rubber/fluffy & different sizes if possible. Watching the others dogs with their toys will be so much encouragement for him. Please ignore if you are already aware as you have rescued previously. Can't wait to hear the news when he realizes how to play with them... very happy times ahead I feel for him thanks to you kirty -
 Vizsla & Hazy... Yes we are very normal

Any Rescue Dobes In Vic/geelong Area?
BC Crazy replied to Mila's Mum's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
My step son rescued one in Geelong Vic but that was 5 or so years ago now. I'll try & find out how or where he actually found out about him. I now it was a private rescue, so he may well of been a one off. Gorgeous dog though & has matured into the perfect companion boy. Will keep you posted if I find out anything for you :) -

This poor boy... what a sad existence this fella has had thus far... this goes way beyond cruel to treat such an intelligent dog this way. Heart breaking to read his story. So very sad Thank you kirty for taking this BC on. This is by no means going to be a walk in the park. There is so much repair work to do. Thunder Shirt, Dap spray used on his bedding nightly & spray on his collar several times a day. Behave paste 2mg daily. These are some things I use & had success with. Feed him in a Kong if you can. Meaty bones are also good as it releases tension as dogs carry a lot of tension in their jaws & gives them something to do. Very short training sessions several times a day. Walking is also excellent for an anxious dog to release tension. He needs to be given stuff that makes him think to help change his current mind set. I will go through my notes from my Vet/Behaviorist if you like & post more stuff that maybe useful for him. Glad he slept through the night That it a huge positive first step. Would love to see him. Pic's would be lovely :D -

Thanks grumpete & Snook :) Yes bit of rough start this morning but my girl shone through & I couldn't be happier :).... my boy is funny you know. In amongst all the mayhem this morning he roused on Stella. He ran over & nipped her on the back. Just is case she got any naughty reactive ideas. Gotta love that :) -

Yes thats true. They don't look like the "scary" pitbulls or whatever. Yet my Vet reckons BC's are top of his list as far as being bitten. Surprising isn't it. Jake did really well this morning Hankdog Way to go :D I got bowled over this morning by a Lab mix that appeared from nowhere & not an owner in sight on the beach. He looked like he had been cooped up for a week or something. He was running everywhere, crazy. Keep charging at Sonny & Stella. So dam annoying. I kept telling Stella to 'leave him', which she did about a dozen times but this dog kept coming back. So I gathering up my guys, changing direction quickly & all of a sudden the owner appears about 100 ft away. So I'm pretty cranky by this stage & have a sore back from falling over, ask her to call her dog, to which she says, he's fine I ask again as he is terrorizing Stella & I know any sec she is about to explode. Get the same answer. I yell back, 'he wont be fine if my girl gets hold of him'. She finally came & got him as he had no recall & she had no lead No idea either & dragged him away by the collar. End rant. Sorry folks but ... On the upside my girl did really well. Not even a growl, bit of a lip curl & she charged back at him a few times but that was as nasty as she got. YA!!! -
Are We Overthinking/over-reacting To Our Dogs' Behaviours?
BC Crazy replied to tdierikx's topic in General Dog Discussion
So very true hankdog... Couldn't agree more -
That sounds great KC but around here you don't see too many sheep. None even. I don't know anyone who has them nor enough land. Hmmm. Oh well have to leave it on the drawing board perhaps.

People really annoy me as our beach is leash-free... right. That doesn't mean you go to the entrance onto the beach, let Fido off the bloody lead, then you sit down, drink coffee, talk on the phone. All the while Fido is running a muck, annoying me, Stella is going off her brain & to avoid a dog fight I have to put her on lead because Fido has NO recall nor manners for that matter & is about to become Stella's brekky... All the while the 'owner' is still sipping coffee on the bloody phone. ERRRRR. Leash-free but under effective control please. As the sign says. I too find people are VERY quick to put there dog on a lead if they have seen Stella lose it on previous occassions. People who haven't are quite shocked when they don't leash up after I have asked them to & witness the consequences. Don't let this pretty little face fool you I say
