  1. Yes I'm not over the top with my guys. But I spend most of everyday with them & I make sure having FUN together is at the top of our to do list. We dont have them around very long at all in the scheme of things. They both know they are my EVERYTHING. I adore them to bits. They get the very best premium food. The very best of medical care. Always tucked up at night dry & warm. Never let suffer the heat. They have the aircon on for them. I protect them from harm & try to enhance their individual characters. All in all I make sure they want for nothing as they always give me 1000% no matter what so Its the very least I can do really :)
  2. A roo mince ball. Kraft lite cheese spread or lite smooth peanut butter are winners here for Stella. She is on life long meds so had to get something that is always going to work. So far so good. She is very cunning so the pills have to be very well camoed or else they get spat straight back at you ;)
  3. Sheena had a quick look at the link you kindly provided. What a great idea !!! Will definitely be giving those a go if ever our tick problems worsen :)
  4. Why have I only just seen this thread..... Anyway I'm another who see's people in our area ALL the time walking their dog or dogs with lead in hand or no leashes at all. Really amazes me quite frankly. They walk near busy roads or even cross them. Dogs are just wandering where ever usually. Makes me so angry & worries me no end. Had a man tell me ages ago how well trained his 2 beautiful BC's are. In fact they were so well trained they didn't need to be leashed EVER. As they just knew exactly what to do. Sadly enough after not seeing him around for a while I saw him walking 1 dog .... Enough said.... I didn't have to ask what happened. His face said it all :(
  5. We do exactly the same thing hankdog. We go to the " lolly cupboard" after dinner every night & we get out a choice of 3 or 4 treats & Sonny gets first choice of which one he'd like. Then Stella gets to choose which one she'd like. Then off they trot both happy as larks to the loungeroom to lay down & devour it. So funny when they deciding which one. Makes me laugh. They smell each one first. Then it's like hmmm which one will I have. They have a little think about it first. Then finally take the one they want. LOL. The favourite desert atm is 1 strawberry & a couple of blueberries dipped in plain yoghurt. I put it on a saucer for them. They get so excited. Stella gets really vocal. Shes always been a little chatterbox :)
  6. Whoops ;) thats hilarious. I havent seen that one before LOL.
  7. Poo fong may I ask what type of lawn do you have? It is beautiful especially with all those doggies :) plus kids.
  8. Gorgeous :) I love this thread. All too beautiful :)
  9. I would highly recommend a Vet/ Chiro/ Accunpture. I found a fantastic Vet that does All these things. She has made a huge difference to my dogs hip issues that I was totally unaware of till he started to show some very suttle signs of what I thought of being a just a tad lazy. Good luck with him. Hope he improves :)
  10. Beautiful kirty What a gorgeous group you have there all out enjoying their walk. Look at Rocky He is lovely kirty. Yes he has his crazy eye's on. Know those eye's anywhere. My girl has those moments often  Dear ol' Champa, lovely fella is going well.
  11. Bosco your hilarious  Teekay, Jenna's face says it all... Wasn't me mum
  12. Dam ticks are a dog owners nightmare aren't they??? They cause us so much grief for something so small. ERRRRR
  13. I found Frontline useless on my 2. Applied it fortnightly & they still got a lot of ticks. We use Advantix wth great success. Been using it for 6 years now & check them several times a day. So far found very few :)
  14. I was only thinking today if this A hole had spent time with this dog previously, buttering poor Beau up. Wonder if there is any video footage traces of that. Gosh I hope this lovely boy can be found...
  15. I love an Irish accent. I think it sounds so full of warmth & happiness. You didn't look fat at all ruthless IMHO :)
  16. Well done I think you did really great :D
  17. Some people The footage amazed me really. That scumbag had definitely done his homework. Knew exactly what he was after & was in & out with gorgeous Beau in tow within minutes. I'm really blown away a GS would let a stranger into the yard, then be leashed & go off with him. Especially without too much commotion. Barking etc. Surprises me a lot actually. Poor dog... Just heartbreaking... I hope he is reunited safely with his loving owner ASAP.
  18. Thanks for that link pie. I'm liking the look of that product & will be giving that a try :D
