  1. What a magnificent dog :) Lovely to see such a partnership...
  2. Thanks Hazy. Your all over this computer stuff  Good on you. I'm still a work in progress. All be it VERY slow
  3. Been wondering where Snook & Justice have gone as well. Miss them. Hope they come back. The paws walk is a really nice morning out. Been to quite a few. Stella is not keen on crowds. All a bit much for her. Took her when she was a youngster but she had a melt down so we came home. She has improved 100% with training & the right medication though. The last 6 months or so I have really notice she is gaining confidence & is some what calmer than she used to be & when her reactivity does escalate she is settling a lot faster. She can collect herself again. Previously once she was in a hightened mental state she would shut down & that is where she stayed for however long as I couldn't reach her. Very pleased about that as her Epilepsy seizures seemed to be triggered by highly stressful situations also so combating her anxiety & noise phobia's are my top priority. She hasn't had a seizure in over 12 months now :D
  4. KtB, it shines through your posts just how much pleasure fostering has brought you & your family ???? Your foster thread is one I never miss checking in on. It makes me feel all warm & fuzzy to see how these dogs can find new forever homes with help from folks like yourself giving them a leg up. Good luck gorgeous Cricket ???? Have fun boy...
  5. I've found 2 gorgeous old beauties up for adoption Sorry can't work out how to link stuff. Not computer savvy but I'm on a very steep, loooonnng learning curve Please look up Dog Rescue Newcastle on facebook. There you will be very fortunate to be introduced to Jack & Jill. These 2 precious pooches are very bonded so we looking for a loving forever home together. ATM these beauties are in a caring foster home on acreage in Mulbring NSW. Jack is a lovely mixed breed, good sized lad who is 11 years old. Possibly a Mastiff mix. In good health. Gets on well with everybody. Very easy going boy by all accounts. Jill is a very young 19 Yes 19 you read right. A very spritely 19 at that. She is a Kelpie Staffy mix. Jill doesn't let age get in her way. There's still plenty of spring in this ol' girls step  She too is easy going & loves to roam around the acreage stretching those very youthful legs of hers. Together these 2 darlings are just a delightful elderly pair. I really hope someone can find a spare spot in their hearts & lounge room for them. Brought tears to my eye's reading their plight. Just heart breaking really
  6. I have a Cannon entry level as I'm just starting out. Around $500 from Domayne & I love it. Only used it on auto focus so far. Takes great pics. Also brought a 5 disc photographers course for beginners. Am about to start that. I'm a slow learner & suffer from dyslexia so thought I could do the course at home at my own pace :)
  7. I have been having a Sumo withdrawal to be honest. Haven't seen him in soooooo long ;)
  8. Awww how cute Gerite don't you listen to those young whipper snappers. Your all over that hoodie girlfriend
  9. Way too cute his new jumper really suits him  He has the face of a real little rascal
  10. Yes I have been wondering the very same thing LG. No news is great news, here's hoping ☺
  11. Annie is a smart cookie. Taking advantage of opportunity. Free treats. A warm bed. Gotta love that. It's up to you to take away anything you don't want her into. As for bed issue, just call her off, lure her to where you want her to lay & then reward her. Just noticed you have pm'd me so I'm off to read it ☺
  12. Oh heart melter's ???? Gosh I love this thread & greatly admire your dedication KTB. Thanks for sharing. Your photos & rags to riches stories about these gorgeous dogs always brighten my day.
  13. How hilarious. Love it Ronin is really having his say. Priceless really...
  14. Thundershirt works like magic here. Huge fan. Stella comes running to get hers on. Instantly she is noticeably calmer & happier. She is an extremely noise phobic/anxious girl so it is a god send for us. I have also brought Sonny one now as he is a bit unsettled in really bad storms like atm. Definitely takes the edge off. So pleased it is working for your girl as well. You are doing so well with her. Good on you for your dedication. All your ground work will pay off in the long run. I'm just starting to see some very pleasing behaviour from Stella. She is coping with stressful situations far better. Her confidence has improved too. She even breezed through an hour long Vet visit yesterday, including getting a set of bloods drawn & complete physical check up. I'm so proud of her. Considering previous Vet visits have had her attempting to jump out of a closed window & upturning all the furniture in the waiting room & biting the Vet on the face.
  15. Great post Haredown. 100 % agree. Wondered the very same thing concerning the "rescue" & rehome agency. Did they even assess Annie before she was palmed off to these seemingly dedicated new owners ???? Seems not...
  16. Hi OSS, I have been buying from Ebay. iHerb & there are a couple of other stores. I will go onto my Ebay account to let you know the other sites. Great prices & top quality.
  17. Sounds like Annie is coming around. Settling & gaining confidence. With professional guidance sounds like you guys are going well. Thanks for the update & good luck with dear Annie :)
  18. Lovely up date KTB as always. Nothing is better than seeing a dog having a blast. Look at dear Frida. Flat out on the beach with her bestie. Those before & afters are all so heart warming as well☺
  19. I belong to the Turmeric Users Group on Face Book. I have read about folks that use Turmeric for lots of ailments. Most have seen noticeable improvement. Sonny is on Golden Paste for Arthritis. I do think his movement has improved. He seems to have his bounce back in his step. I take Turermic for my Arthritis as well in capsule form as I can't stand the taste of it.
  20. That looks like a blast. Ronin looks like he has taken to that already. How did you get him to run in front of you Yonjuro? And keep going. I notice there is another lead going of his collar. Is there someone else running along with him? Knowing my 2 they would run in front of me for a short distance but would keep running back to me. So we wouldn't get very far I'm thinking
  21. So sorry Kajtek you lost your heart boy. Thoughts are with you at this extremely difficult time R.I.P. gorgeous man
