I must say Mason ignores 8 week old pups, he ignored his half brother and our friends chi but as soon as they were a month or so older he gave in and played with them, now he is best mates with both dogs. Im kind of glad that I wont have such a huge gap between Mason and slug pup because Mason is already old for his age and I am wondering if he will get grumpy with age lol.

Yeah i get headaches but not normally so many so maybe it was a virus or something

Dogs do teach us heaps about ourselves and i learned heaps from my prior 2 dogs ( like never get 2 puppies together and especially litter sisters). My current dog has taught me how to train dogs as my previous 2 were not clicker trained etc ( that was a bit before their time). I would say the x-breeds i had before were not beginner dogs but i think it all comes down to the individual dog and its personality.

Must be something in the air RosieFt i had a headache from thurs-sun last week, so annoying you cant even think straight. And of course being a wife ( and mum) you have to carry on cooking, cleaning etc!!

Very cute, what does Ruby think? Does she crack the nod?? There is no lawn at your parents place? Maybe thats why she wont pee? Mason wont go loo on anything but lawn or sand.

Yip i have about 7 weeks to fix him thing im worried about is taking him to a place where heaps of dogs are and him bringing something home to the pup. But i guess life must go on and what will happen will happen. Pup would only be getting his 12 week vac the week after states....

Im not doing any trial until states and that is even if i do compete on the day - mason is broken ( no auto sits etc) lol

ST i am quite lucky as i have a park right over the road ( not a dog park its more for people) what i usually do is walk mason once around, then train him and throw his ball for him ( i do walk him around the nighbourhood too) but i thought pup could come across to the park for the training side of things.

Wadz imo and i am no expert if pup is taken to airport in crate, loaded on plane and taken straight home after landing it should be fine as pup is not touching the ground. Dogs though can still get all these things even if they are vaccinated so i wouldnt stress too much.

Who is doing the state obedience trial??

Im taking our pup ( storm) to pup classes at our obedience club, i want his 12 week shot done first so will socialise him with friends etc before then. I did all the puppy school stuff 2,5 years ago and i have a real good book with heaps of exercises etc.

Lol Tiggy u make me laugh - was this for the 20th?? So u not entering now? I have some work to do with Mason, would like to do states bht not sure if we will be ready.
