  1. Must say i gave my horse joint support suppliments for years but imo did not make any difference
  2. I find yakult did nothing to help my dogs stomach but the inner health plus did
  3. Beautiful pups I get to go and see the pups at 5 weeks old today. - so excited!!!!! So how did the first nights go???
  4. Very cute Joelle. We are seeing the pups this arvo massively excited - been seeing pics these last 2 weeks and boy are they cute as!! RS i think Mason will also get annoyed with pup at times, he gets annoyed with the chi x that stays here when he wants to rest and the pup doesnt but he just pretends to sleep even when Albie jumps on his head etc and eventually Albie gives up. At least your girls get to go home for a break
  5. Maybe one of these would suit, I got them off Blackboy Website. BLACK MALE AVAILABLE - Thomas Aged - 21 months. Super Temperament Sire: Ch. 6. i guess it all depends on the dog though and not really the age, at 12 months Mason was chewing up plastic things but on a whole was really easy, I know some other dogs who at 12 months were still very much a handful
  7. I left my lab on pup food until 6 months, friend fed her lab puppy food until she was 12 months. Both dogs are fine
  8. Hmm would it be an only dog ST?? Lovely pics of Lulu Friend has a lab, she is walked 2x a day and gets taken to dog park etc but did dig holes until they got her her own sand pit, she only digs there now.
  9. I swore no dog on the bed, well after 2 months of getting up all the time at night hubby let Mason start sleeping with us ( he only get up lots though because he was allergic to the food we were feeding him). I am going to start puppy off in his crate, hopefully he will settle pretty quickly. If push comes to shove though, puppy can sleep on bed after his middle of the night toilet
  10. So excited i get to see the pups tomorrow, and this time I am taking my big camera
  11. I am not sure if i am going to do pup school with pup besides club school after he has had his shots
  12. I would treat as soon as for a UTI but thats just me
  13. SW im loving the Wilbur pics they sure do have a lovely big yard to play in. And BTW Wilbur looks anorexic compared to the 2 pups which might be ours ( we will only be taking 1 obviously).
  14. When bitches are in season are they in a bad mood?? My bitches were all desexed before they had a season so i have no clue!!
  15. Are you planning on breeding with her RV?? Are u going to puppy class with her?? Hows it going?
  16. Saw more photos of pups today - cuteness overload
  17. I actually think it might be easier getting a puP when u have an older dog as it follows and copies the other 1 saw more pics of the pups and gosh they are cute!!
  18. Jumping is a hard problem to deal with, a friends big dog still jumps at 2,5 years and she has pushed me over because of her size. Standing still does not work for her, ignoring her does not work. If she comes and sits near me I will praise her and give her a treat but most of the time she will jump up again after this. They have also tried time outs, I dont want to hijack the thread but what else can they do?? I used to tell my dog off for it and then out him back onlead or give him a time out. None of which worked for my friends dog
  19. its probably a bee sting, Rubystar's Ruby has been bitten/stung twice and twice she has swollen up
  20. I have a lab and a friend has a chi x, they have known each other since the chi was a pup, the little dog often stays with us while its owners are away and i leave them alone together no hassles. My dog is 2,5 and the chi is 10 months. They do play alot but also rest together once they are tired and if my dog doesnt want to play anymore the little 1 gets the message.
  21. Idavid89 im going to stick my neck out here and say that i would not be feeding that food as it has cereal grains as its first ingredient. I know the breeder was probably feeding this so you cant change him over just yet but i would in the future. But this is just my opinion.
  22. As a guide at 8 weeks my pup ate a cup and a half of kibble plus extras - he is also a lab. My friends chi eats 30g morning and night so not sure if thats enough for a lab pup
  23. Yep but isnt that tail wag a high held tail and pretty stiff?? I know my lab and he gets hysterically happy when he has food! I had a dog with issues before so im pretty aware of things
