  3. Interesting question. I have a puppy that seems to not be able to tolerate much raw, it all seems to give him the runs, then I have a dog who cannot tolerate a 100% kibble diet, so at the moment the pup is eating a fully dry diet and and my older boy is eating 1 cup biscuits and about 300g meat a day.
  4. Had 2 xridgy x bullmastiff they lived until they were 11, 1 was pts because of cancer, 1 coz of arthritis

Back to specialist on 11 June to hear what the next step of rehab is :) our elim diet went pear shape and set off Gibbs gastro worse i had to get him to a vet on sar morning who put him on RC gastro intestinal biscuits and he is 100x better im wondering if he is one of those dogs that cant eat raw
  6. Thursday will be 12 weeks since Gibbs had surgery, we were told he would probably have a very bad limp at this stage still..... But we are lucky and no limping at all he is doing great I coding be happier with his post surgery rehab etc :)

  8. Yes I can't help wonder how this all happened, what was the child doing, why wasn't she being supervised etc, it's an awful thing to happen but I think humans need to take their share of responsibility here
  9. I fancy the boy :) no room in the inn... Or should I say my wallet at this time lol
  10. Congrats!! That's my biggest problem with Mason he is a fantastic retriever, will search all day for the bird/dummy too but I know his mouth isn't soft enough at this moment in time to enter trials. Funny Gibbs is such a bad chewer but he is fantastic with birds :) he is really good.

  14. Baha bet you Ptolomy had taught them dumbell prior and just let you think you taught them lol!!
  15. I don't vaccinate also coz my dog has allergies and reacted badly to KC vaccine, hasn't had 1 since he was 10 weeks and he is now 3. I socialist him a lot andhe has never had KC, where my younger dog who has had KC vac has had KC twice!! The strains they vaccinate them against are not the ones going around at the moment anyway so I don't bother.
  16. I'm having a really hard time with my pup he was put on elim diet due to diarrhoa, been on elim diet for 2 days and worst case of upset stomach I have ever seen.
  17. No not adding anything as one of those could cause reaction, I did elim diet with my older dog and now with my puppy, they are pretty tedious I hate it
  18. Ok for a 30kg dog it says 520g meat ( protein) and 1000g carb ( veg) however I know this is too much for my dog I feed 400g meat and about 300-400g pumpkin a day, I don't like my dog to gain any weight I am happy with him at 32kgs :)
