With raw i battle to keep weight on my lab so maybe give it a go. He gets roo or goat ( i have now added lamb in) with pumkin or sweet potato, egg, cheese( u could leave this out) carrots, pears and roo bones.

Vaccinations are so tricky there is so much contridicting info out there. I will do 12, 16 week, yearly booster than 3 yearly ..... Mason gets titred so maybe i will just titre both after 1 year booster - after all mason is still alive and kicking lol. My old dogs i did them until they were 3 years old and then not again until their 9th year but they were not in contact with other dogs

I am eager to find out about the show classes as i know diddly about showing. I had a look on the website but only saw the thurs night classes , let me go look again..

Yup im also confused about vacs. My pup got one at 6 weeks, then my vet said one at 12 and then 16 week booster. Not every1 does the 16 week one. Breeders say a week after the 12 week one they can go out in public ( my vet says only after the 16 week one) but that is too long to wait to socialise etc imo. ETA 5 weeks is way to early imo

Mr Blue was a bit sleepy for my liking but his new family are lovely, they own one of masons half brothers

I admire people who take on rescues / older dogs. I had always had rescue horses but i had only had dogs from puppy. I then heard of a 7 month old goldie who needed a home and we decided to take him in. Sadly he was not for us as he was far too dominant for my lab, the poor thing had never played offlead with another dog and had issues due to this. If i had not had another dog at the time it may have worked out but could not live with having to watch them 24 7. Because of this i would probably only get another puppy.

You can also do turkey and sweet potato or chicken sweet potato

No Suzie i go see them again tomorrow so may know then Full rego you can show and breed etc, limited you cant show or breed but can compete in sports like retrieving trials where you need rego papers.

Yup i asked myself that question with my last dog - what did i do to make her this way but iv raised Mason nearly the same and he is so different.

Yup RV i feel the same about Mason - he has been hassle free barring the allergies. Very easy going, always friendly and happy

Poor Moo Mason had about that many needles in him last saturday- his face had such a weird expression on it. Taking him back next fri for a follow up. I can see already that it has made a difference
