I tried flip finished but OMG Mason is so useless at it!! His rear end awareness is just not good enough, I have trained it heaps but I am obviously not doing it right as he does not get it. He is beter since he saw the chiro but not 100%. I want to start rear end awareness earlier with Gibbs than what I did with Mason as I think i missed the boat with him

I am so cross! I ordered some stuff online, had to wait a week as they had no stock of the food I am after, it shipped last week, got into Perth on friday and now the courier tells me they are 2 busy and can only bring it like in 2 weeks time. I am fuming!! And have gotten hubby to go and collect after work as the warehouse is in Kewdale so not far from his work luckily.!!!! :mad :mad

Maybe we could do it at someones house and Gibbs could go along too? He is a thug with his own litter so I will keep a close eye on him, little ratbag

At our trial on Saturday, we lost one point in the recall, and that was because she finished about a half step too far forward and a little squiffy. So frustrating when this happens. She'd been finishing a half step too far back, so obviously we've over corrected it! He sits right next to me but the body faces a bit toward me at times, I am trying to correct it but its taking some time.

Also is it too early to be teaching an 8,5 week old pup to drop?? I think Mason was a bit older when I taught him. I am battling to get Gibbs to drop though, he does not lay down if i lure him with the food between his front legs like I learnt to do at dog dlub with Mas.

I was training whistle in the house this morning for retrieving ( after going in to work and finding out that I am not actually working today ) and Gibbs was watching and then starting joining Mason in sitting when I whistled

Leaving the 2 boys along together for the first time to go to work ( they were alone for 3hrs yesterday while I went to Medicare), I will only be gone 5 hrs but Im going to miss them

Lots of allergy dogs are prone to staph infections, i would not discount allergies at this point. If he has an allergy to beef its highly likely he could have other allergies. My dog is atopic and has food allergies

I would say my big lab was trained 100% in 2 months, my new baby i got this weekend and he has no clue although we are getting better daily. He will sleep in his crate for 7 hrs at night without needing the loo -
