  1. I think Bedazzled has no power I saw on FB and all the lights etc are out in Midland. Great news today, Gibbs has no more restrictions and he can compete in any dog sports he wants when he is a bit older :)
  2. I think coming from Africa I know boerbels better than most , my dad has 2 males back home desexed living together no hassles. I don't know the OP I don't know her dogs or if they have existing issues, I don't read every thread on here. Friend of mine has a couple of boerboels and some jack russels, the boerboels are great together but the one jack Russell always starts a fight with the one boerboel. At the end of the day it comes down to individual dogs and their personalities. I had 2 females who would fight until one of them passed out from their wounds unless they were seperated, I won't have 2 females together again I don't think but the one was a real piece of work she would have fought males anyway.
  3. Rubbish. If BOTH dogs are de-sexed they're back on a level playing field. With an existing where issues have arisen I would say desex one, keep the other entire, but this is a situation this person is planning on creating - get a bitch and 99% of the time the problem will never arise. I didn't realise they already had a Cavalier - hope it's not a male or it could end up very unpleasant all 'round. The OP asked for our opinions, I have 2 males and they are fine together, never had a days issue. This is just what I would do. People on here are so quick to damn judge other people's comments. Somedays I wonder why I bother to reply to posts....!!!

  6. Mason has normal hair on his trunk but down his back its dry and dead because it doesnt shed to his allergy meds. Had thyroid tests etc but all normal
  7. I use joint guard for my elbow dysplasia dog, I'm happy so far :)
  8. I wish well behaved dogs could go in the air craft :) Masons guide dog siblings do and it's so cute to see, he would be well behaved enough to sit there for 4 or 5 hrs
  9. Thanks Ness :) Think its about 1000 more per knee but will have to ask again because that was for different surgery Yeah thats alot more even $1000 overall would be a lot. Ask them for a total quote because it would only mean 1 anaesthetic and 1 lot of theatre fees etc.
  10. Oh no CC, sorry to hear about Daisy there is loads of medications that can help tho I take stuff for my murmur :) the only downside is I ant come off them and I can't take them if preg so even if I wanted bubs ( which I don't yet) I probably couldn't have them anyway
  11. Yes, but the magic words on your claim were 'abcess' and 'trauma'. Vet wrote Abscess but not trauma
  12. Iv heard of big dogs having an ulna ostectomy done on both front legs and they weight bear after about 4 days post op, it's a huge ask though and I don't know if I could have done it with Gibbs if he had needed it.
