  1. I think I am going to try a Cool Champions one, I have one from Clean RUn but it dries out very quickly
  2. Gibbs would probably not wonder off too far I dont recon if I was to go, he likes being with people more than other dogs at this stage. Katie I am sure he will be fine, I think his paw pads get sore from running on the paving but just taking him to get checked by Deb to be on the safe side. Eta and i dropped him the monday after i got him so i want him adjusted etc
  3. I am not going to make it RV , i have to take Gibbs to Deb on saturday after he played too full on with Mason yesterday - i let them play for too long and mason was rough with him
  4. Im giving my pup 300g meat and a bone as his lunch time meal, when he goes to 2 meals a day he will get half raw half kibble
  5. I did the same with my 2 Bedazzled, i dont do it from a sit at all
  6. am really interested to know why M_G. At one stage i was looking at using Advance as the large puppy formula had protein as its first ingredient (unlike the current premium brand i'm using); so your input would be good. taa I know heaps of people here in wa fed it to their labs and all was good but then something changed and heaps of dogs got the runs on it ( mine included). My pup is eating royal canin lab pup but when he goes to adult food he will get Canidae like Mason does and half raw.
  7. Will do this weekend is a bit busy but the weekend after im free both days, sunday the 8th im busy and sat 15th and i think gundog trial is the 29th...
  8. Boxagirl we can get him and Gibbs together at some stage it would be good for him
  9. Rubystar i can bring Gibbs for a playdate sometime obviously not this weekend though he is very loud when he plays tho and sounds like he is killing mason at times lol
  10. Thanks for the pics CC and i love the 3 you sent me of me, mas and Gibbs
  11. CC Mas does pull classic faces, he loves puppy now, had to seperate them tonight as they were playing too much!!
  12. But it's not the dogs choice, it's yours as an owner and the dogs need to comply with it. It's part of everyday handling and routine care of the dog. I'm amazed, although I shouldn;t be, at the number of owners who allow their dogs to get away with such things. Brushing and nail clipping are the simplist of tasks, yet many dogs seem to rule the roost when it comes to them. I know this full well I am not stupid but having had a dog that wont let you do it no matter what you try I can sympathise.
  13. I think the Advance is just as bad but thats just my opinion
  14. Gibbs didnt want his roo tail bone today, think he was tired as he had just woken up. He was interested in masons though....
  15. Yes mrs ts could be uti... Its unusual in a male tho so i would take to the vet asap as its probably uncomfy
  16. Yeah i was actually thinking about that with regards to Gibbs as he hasnt had his 12 week shot but seeing as Mason is going to K9 the night before im taking a risk anyway. Will probably just take Gibbs to her house and see the puppy the more i think about it.
  17. Ask the vet to help u next time you are there. I had a ridgeback that hated having her nails done, and they are so stubborn when they decide they dont want something done

  19. I will try to still make it.. Maybe i can go see her puppy in the afternoon, or if no one minds i could just ask her to bring her choc lab baby with??
