  1. Kiesha he pants even when he is not in the crate and yes i did crate games with him. All thats in the crate is a very thin cushion bed. He sleep outside through winter at the breeders and has a very thick coat which is why he gets hot. No idea how he is going to cope through summer!!!
  2. Amy he has to crack the stand soon if I want to show him
  3. Aussielove sorry to hear this, will be thinking of you guys!!
  4. Mason can do SFE but my puppy is battling to learn a stand he loves to sit and stare at me, copies mason!!!!
  5. I love friesans!!! If i dont have to work that day i may go take a look
  6. He is already huge, almost 10Kg!! Look we can probably arrange something before then, the 8 and 9 oct I am busy and sat the 15th I am too but other than that it looks good.
  7. Its only going to be the 2 of us and they will be on long leads anyways most of the time. I want to see if Gibbs may swim I am probably doing the Gundog trial 29 Oct but if you like we can try meet before then sometime... ETA and its very very quiet there, sometimes Mason is the only dog which is why I chose that park for Gibbs first doggy outing
  8. RS boxagirl and I are going to meet in Lansdale on 8 October, you are more than welcome to bring your 2 and Pip if you are not too busy. Gibbs prob wont go far from Mason and he wont just run up to other dogs he is actually quite shy from what I see at pup school ETA not shy really but not as interested in other dogs as Mason is....
  9. My lab puppy has been sleeping in our bedroom in his wire crate. The last week he has been getting hot at night and panting in it. His favorite place to sleep during the day is kn the bathroom tiles. I need some ideas on how to cool him/the crate down. I thought a cooling mat but would need to be non toxic as he will chew it and eat it. I used a small fan blowing onto him but it did not seem to help 1 bit.
  10. RS there is a schnauzer x in puppy class and its the busiest dog ever!!!! Very energetic
  11. If u keen on one i could ask my friend where she got her girl i know it was from somewhere over east
  12. My friend has 2. I would say they are very very active and need a lot if exercise. Hers are dog friendly ( not sure about cats). Not sure about shedding Either.
  13. I wish the VAN didnt have grains it, it would be great for my allergy dog but oats are a big problem for him
  14. Lol Mirawee i got to hold him when we swapped pups and he is all fur, weighs nothing compared to my elephant pup tipping the scales at 9,3kg at 10 weeks...
  15. Yup is Taavi's owner a first time dog owner?
  16. Just supervise the play, im having to do it with my 2 as the older 1 forgets his size
  17. Good idea Raffikki, mine is also intermittent
  18. Hey mirawee there is a lappie pup in our puppy class, from QLD.
  19. RV I am sure all will be fine and we will all be there to support you! I am so nervous for novice heelwork and recalls. Mason has no focus lately he runs off to sniff stuff at the drop of a hat. And if my friend has her dog in the ring next to us and he sees her it will be a disaster  ETA Mason now will drop on every recall halfway, I have not been practising drop on recall or anything its something he has just added in
  20. Rosie FT we all see Dr Deb Nook, she has helped Mason with a stiff neck and lower back. I will pm her details to you. Happy birthday ST!!!!
  21. Lol if i say to mason, are u begging, he looks away all guilty...
  22. What i did ( others probably do differently) is I used something he liked and only gave it to him to practice the hold ( give, take click) - still threw his ball for him etc like normal but now that he has the hold he has to bring everything back to hand.
