  1. Good luck evetybody for tomorrow !!! Maybe i will attempt the obedience next year with Mason
  2. I'm coming on the train so a chair would be a bit awkward :D but I'll definitely come say hello. Hey i wanted to go too but Mr has his check up first thing and then his vacs, cant leave him unattended straight after his vac - sorry
  3. My dog eats Royal Canin for puppies and he drinks heaps morw than my dog who eats 1 cup canidae a day plus raw - i find in general dogs who eat kibble do drink more than those who eat raw
  4. Aussielover its a public ground... There has not been any parvo here in our area for most of winter according to our vet. Not worried about kennel cough as Gibbs has already had it so he should have a bit of immunity to that
  5. Thanks Drumbeat - northern suburbs is where he will be going
  6. Most puppies from registered breeders are coming chipped now - well at least all thevlb pups that i know
  7. Suzie our vet also said to wait until 16 week vac but a lot of people dont even do a 16 week its only a booster. Plus as Mason is out and about snd coming home to Gibbs if Gibbs was going to catch something he would have by now so i may take him next sunday. If he was confident with other dogs i may wait but he isnt which is why i want him to go as soon as.
  8. I take him to vet puppy classes atm but i want him to start our club classes next sunday, he is being vacced on monday , was due this friday but due to an accident he had to have anasthetic and couldnt have it on fri Eta he has been carried around our neighbourhood when he was young but at nearly 13kgs is now far to heavy to carry
  9. I have been told to wait at least 7 days after my pup having his 12 week vacs to take him in public, there is a puppy class i would like him to attend 1 day before he should be going out, how much of a risk is it to take him ?
  10. I always wanted him to attebd our obedience clubs pup school but as its held on a public ground i decided to wait until he had had his 12 week jab. I just took him to the other schook from 10 weeks to start his socialising
  11. At our class no one steps in, taking him to a new school from next sunday
  12. Masons pretty good with pain, never heard him cry in pain and if he has a bad fall he gets up and carries on going. Gibbs is up and crazy as today!!
  13. Max i know what you mean, my older dog was always afraid to do the wrong thing and disappoint me, Gibbs is more carefree!!!
  14. Foalmor my older lab handles pain very well
  15. Thats awful showdog my animals in africa were terrified of fireworks they let them off alk the time for nothing there
  16. RV its massive trauma to the tooth and jaw - inflammation from trauma such as him clamping down hard on something or running into something or a fall... Check up monday morning. CC i really feel for you regarding your cats, any chance of bringing them over?
  17. Gibbs is home ( with tooth still intact) its not an abcess there is no infection ( norhing showed up on xray and no infection came out when they stuck a needle in to draw some fluid out). He is on pain meds and antibiotics and will go back on monday for a check up. If the tooth needs to come out at a later stage a dental vet will take it out as it will involve burring away some of the jaw bone to ensure they get the whole root.
  18. Tiggy i will contact u once i hsve Gibbs back, he had xrays but they didnt take the tooth out ( could be more complicated ) so will hear at 6 when i get him when he has to go back or what the go is...
  19. I thought last night with the pain he was in that he would not make it - it was awful! Was so relieved when they said it was just the tooth
  20. Hubby dropped him off and they are xraying before surgery to make sure nothing elsr is involved, home now so just waiting to hear..
