Yup they did a swob but picked nothing up Oso. Anyone know if its possible to catch a stomach bug from a dog? Im man down with upset stomach now!!

Thanks RS, between the two of them they are sending me inssne. Gibbs has a slight cough still which they think is some small throat upper res infection, leaving it to clear on its own but if not gone by wed i need to take him in. KC would have been simpler!!

Vets charge, we`ll try other ways first. Everything i stuffed around with trying first cost more than just seeing the dermatologist. There is no easy quick fix for allergies and thats a fact. I have gone without heaps of stuff to get my dog the correct treatment thats what owning a dog is all about!!

Had the same with Lewis, thought he was getting better then back again. He had a bacterial gut infection. Yup vet not 100% sure what it is but he is on antibiotics. Gibbs' cleared up on his own

No hassles it does dogs up to 54kg so should be right

She could have food allergies, my one dog cannot have any grains etc or he gets the runs...

Emery I have some Confortis i dont use i could give you a tablet to try if u keen...

My dog had a tooth abcess and he had same symptoms, yelping etc if you touched anywhere in his face

I would maybe take him to see the chiro as well about the stroking chest noise...

You can use Capstar ( kills a the fleas on them instantly) and monthly Comfortis tablet . You can also use a dip and dip the dogs

Maybe in winter, too hot there in summer with no swimming facilities

I would also find out who in your state breeds for Guide Dogs, here in WA only certain lines get used, those pups from those lines are usually quieter dogs ( well the ones I have met have been). My Mason's sister is a guide dog in training and at 2,5 years old is a lot quieter than heaps of other labs I have met... ETA the whole litter are very quiet easy going, easy to train dogs- its from their mum I think as she herself is so laid back and non hyper.

Agggg after Mason battling an intermittent upset stomach for a week iv given in and i have to take him to the vet, think it could be some sort of stomach infection ( Gibbs had stomach troubles too earlier in the week but he is 100% now) mason has a good day then bad so i dont know whats up

And Mason eats very pricey kibble but its the only 1 he can eat so far and a 13kg bag lasts us 2 month + as i feed half raw anyway.

I must say i pay a lot for heartworm think its $100 for 12 tubes of Revolution but it does fleas, mites and other stuff too.

I dont know i think a lab with a quiet calm nature can be found. I have 2 labs and i think they have been easier to handle then some of my prior dogs. I do make sure they go out daily tho and that the older ine exercises at least 20 mins a day plus training. I wouldnt pay for private training unless there was a behaviour problem. Our club closes for jdec and jan and i train on my own - i dont attend with mason anyway as he has finished all the trial classes. Gibbs i will teach on my own mostly as i want to do things slightly differently

I would see a dermatologist most vets have no clues about allergies

Thanks Candice Is it full of off-lead dogs, or is it an on-lead event? All onlead well the last 2 years were all onlead, the name has changed slightly this year but i imagine its all still onlead as i dont think that park is offlead anyway I must get that pic of the dogs and i that you took off you in a high resolution i want a big canvas printed - love it!!!
