Side Effects Of Feeding Dogs Bread?
Mason_Gibbs replied to heroeswit's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
We have had this happen and ended up fencing off the drive way which was annoying as it cut down the amount of space the dogs had. And then showed the parent the food her kids had thrown on our driveway and sdvised her if they kept doing it we would start throwing the food back over for her to clean up. Suddenly she managed to get off her backside and tell her kids to stop feeding our dogs. I would be restricting the dogs access to the neighbour as I would be really unhappy at someone feeding my dogs bread - I have seen a dog bloat and die after scoffing a belly full of stale/mouldy bread. Unfortunatly i cannot fence it off it would mean the dogs only have the small alfresco area and no place to toilet etc. the kids havent thrown stuff over in 6 -8 months so im hoping it continues. -
It is probably going to be hard to find a lot of people to compete but we may get a few, a lot if that test is basic obedience and obedience numbers themselves are not great. Now factor in that people need to have a 'gundog' type of dog in specific and it cancels out a bunch more of people. Just saying... Dont know how many people will actually do it. I would love to though

Agreed!!!

If your dog is titled in retrieving you are ineligible to compete in RAT. (Even QND title). I didnt know that and none of them mentioned it, just said as there is no game and no guns they not keen It also CAN be run on game, but the club has to organise the game, whereas if it is run with dummies everyone provides their own. Yup but have heard that they battle to get game ad it is so in all likelihood it will be dummies. Did you come and watch the demo at the beginning of the season?

Suzie thats normal especially for an only dog.

I was chatting to some people already competing in proper retrieving trials and they dont seem keen to do the ratg's its not challenging enough for advanced people i guess but its still a title imo.

Puppy Bullmastiff Nutrition And Hotspot
Mason_Gibbs replied to Nicinoo's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
None if that stuff works on serious hotspots jmo though really? What spray do you use recommended by the dermatologist. Has the specialist determined exactly what it is that your dog has, because in 30 years of having Bulldogs with hotspots, these remedies do work. jmo And is there a serious need to spray them daily??? Are you sure you are referring to hotspots and not an infection. Yes my dog has had extensive allergy testing, he is atopic and has food allergies. The hotspots are not from food though as I now know what he is allergic to and steer clear of it. His hotspots are bacterial overgrowth, one day the sore will be just a tiny scratch the next day ( even after treatment) it will be a sore 0f 5-10cm wide, horrible horrible stuff. -
I cannot find any info for my dogs lines on there and they both come from great dogs and have ancestors from big kennels here in Australia, couldnt get info on one dog off there
