  1. Had a limp off and on from 8 weeks old, Deb fixed his neck, then on 15 oct he slipped in kitchen and started limping badly. He has had 3 treatments now and comes right but always goes back to being as sore as he was before. We suspect tendon ligament damage but need to see what is going on just in case it's anything else
  2. If you want to do agilitydon't take a dog who has had a broken limb - this is just my opinion but it would be a big risk I think

Maybe it should be called Dol answers not dol forums
  4. Looks like it may be Gibbs' turn for X-rays and maybe an MRI next week

Maybe next time then leave the advice to people who have a better idea of what they are talking about ;) I admit I know humans, but not animal wound care apologies if i offended folks, i'll stick to humans ;) i'm just glad noone lost a life (i'm still struggling to find any information that states too much salt is bad for a cut) ;) Have to say this thread just turned into a slinging match. I get some chlorohexidine from the vet and use that on hotspots and sores
  9. Lol Mason's recall was an all in one again, he runs towards me ( after veering off to sniff) then comes to sit next to me on the left Please tell me what exercises you fail if the dog does it wrong in CDX ie an instant fail??
  10. Think Gibbs can be the new obedience dog lol
  11. I'm just so down, and failing seems to be the norm ATM, more downs than ups.... Is it wrth it
  12. Quite disappointed with our obedience tonight, Mason was so distracted........ AGAIN!!! And he tried to duck out the ring during heelwork and veered off during the recall. Will probably give him a break he hates trialling a couple weeks in a row and I don't know why ...
  13. I am quite happy to leave my collars on in the ring, doesn't make a difference to me. I guess if they run out the ring when they are not supposed to strangers can hold onto them easier
  14. I need to watch some UD rounds i only know seekback and glove exercises i need to see the rest to get an idea how i would train them. We can do seekback and im teaching scent articles this weekend
  15. Lol!! I made them pose for xmas cards and gift tags the suit just fitted the pup and it was the biggest size available
  16. Cant see why the Nutro helped though as it has grains in which many are allergic to
  17. No I meant he chews metal frame and eats the material
  18. I can imagine how u feel CC. Im beginning to think Gibbs should just go for a scan / xrays as some days he limps, some days he doesnt , seeing Deb again sat so will see what she recons.
  19. They have one of those but my Belgian prefers that one and Badger prefers a bed he can snuggle into. Maybe I'll just keep putting that bed away during the day. As he only chews it during the day. I don't want to put anything on it and then he won't go near it at all. Then if he does end up destroying it [i'll still kill him .. joking] and then go back to cheap hessian bedding. My dog still eats his trampoline bed.....
