Sorry double post. Why I suggested k9 committee should decide on what to do is because if I do my own thing, and the next person does there thing then we are not working as a team to combat this. There are also k9 members who are not on WA click or DOL who won't know what is discussed etc so they need to be informed too.

I agree with you, the fact that they got away with so much on Friday night has made them brazen - we really need to be mindful of these guys. I don't think the ' let's keep all our valuables locked up and the criminals will go elsewhere approach is going to work with these guys", wish the cops would do more. I would suggest not going to canine on your own to train, don't leave and let someone be there on their own. At the sports club where I belonged they hired a security firm to be there at night when people were training ec. Not saying k9 should do that as they are expensive here but I don't think they should just do nothing. Again I m lucky as I take hubby to trials he can watch the dogs but my concern is for other people

Petplan can pay directly to the vet. It is up to the vet whether they will accept this (as petplan can take a few weeks to pay up) or whether they will require upfront payment. A few weeks lol..... I wait anywhere between 10-12 weeks ATM!! It kills my credit card as I get charged the interest obviously Really? The longest it took for ours was 3 weeks and that was with a delay due to a processing error. The second one took 5 days and the 3rd one took 8! All claims over $3500 so they also had to go through a second approval level. Yup really!!!

How Much Time Does Your Dog/s Spend On Thier Own?

Can't vote as I only work 2 days a week so those 2 days it would be 6 hrs alone until hubby is home -
Having Baby Canines Removed?
Mason_Gibbs replied to Missymoo's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
My older boy always had the big one come out next to his baby canine but they fell out on his own, new baby only lost 1 on his own ( although the 1 bottom one was loose on the day if surgery), had to have 2 surgically removed -

Having Baby Canines Removed?
Mason_Gibbs replied to Missymoo's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I had to have 3 of my pups baby canines removed this week ( 2 of them had fractures and abscesses as he broke them both at 10 weeks) I paid $400 for everything but that included antibiotics etc as there was a lot of infection -
Thats how it starts but if they want someone 's car next they can easily start carjacking people etc. happened at a sports club where I belonged, first it was just petty theft like stuff being taken from cars, equipment etc and then they started actually carjacking people. Not saying it will happen for sure but if we all just sit back and do nothing they will get braver. Just saying we all need to be prepared and that way if we are vigilant and k9 do something then we will be one up on these criminals!! At our shopping centre this week a ladies bag was snatched from over the toilet door. She reported it etc and the next day got a call from what she thought was the cops, asking her to come down to the station, while she was there ( and the cops were telling her no they never called her) the criminals were in her house taking her stuff!! Criminals get pretty brave near the festive season, happens every year

when did this happen RS ? so sorry but at training all the time we tell people to lock their cars, to park under or near lights etc. A few months ago they were removing whole windows. At Tuesday training one night they had a field daythere were dogs in cars and still stuff stolen. Sorry but really we all know abouth the rotten thieving and know heaps of people who have been robbed. We really really need to lock our cars and park under the lights. I saw a car on Tuesday with "all valuables have been removed from my car" I think that is a great idea. My biggest fear is something will happen to a dog, or a puppy stolen. I have sleepless nights about it. Sorry about your phone ..was it insured ? No not insured. I think we need to get a guard at night at k9 ... It's just a matter of time before someone he's held up etc for their valuables. It's going to cost but I think it's necessary. My biggest fear is also my dogs getting taken but I always have hubby with me and never leave the dogs unattended, but for people who go down alone it's not an option

You can be as careful as anything but things still happen sometimes. I took insurance with my contract but if u are buying a new phone outrighf not sure if they offer the same insurance??
-
Yeah we are all going to have to be more observant from now on. In all honesty I'm a little afraid to go to k9 at night now
-
So they don't seem afraid of dogs then.... Not that anyone would be afraid of Ruby she has a friendly face if its any consolation the cops probably will catch them and they will get punished.

When I go out my pup is outside with my older dog, never had any issues but I did fence off the garden and he has no access to anything besides toys/kongo I leave out and a little clam shell pool

Is C4 Vaccination Enough To Go To A Boarding Kennel
Mason_Gibbs replied to quangle's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Some kennels here in WA accept title testing so check with the kennel in question as some may have different requirements -
Yes, a woman saw them. A man and his son. She saw them coming downstairs from the bar and looking very out of place, and yep, the bar had cash stolen. She also saw them walking down near our cars and never said anything. If you don't want to approach them yourselves, even just to ask if you can help them to maybe scare them off, at least alert others and call the police to report suspicious activity. She stood by and did NOTHING and quite a few people got hit. Will she give the descriptions to the cops???

They need to do something

Jerks!!! It was always happening in Africa which is why we left, you work so hard and stuff gets taken away from you!! I took I insurance on my phone ( not mainly for theft mainly coz I'm always taking it to the beach or river with the dogs and I'm scared it gets wet or they damage it somehow) . Big hugs too you!! I texted you but obviously you won't get it

It's getting really bad down there at night!! I'm glad hubby comes with and is at the car at trials

She mentioned pano but that was ruled out in the X-rays as apparently u can see that on X-rays . I have restricted his exercise for over 2 weeks now and it hasn't helped a stitch... MG, pano can come and go - it happens in stages. So it is entirely possible the x-ray could show nothing...then, two days later, show something. Spoke to my vet about it but the limp would also then switch legs, its been the 1 leg constantly
