Three times? When you take into account it's a Labrador(s) she wants, with several young children under 4, three times doesn't even come close. I love my almost 5 month old pup but I could never imagine having 2 of him the same age. I had 2 pups together before and never again!!!

Eardrops For A Bloodhound Who Hates Them

My dog made a huge fuss at first, I just kept persevering and now he isn't so bad, I have to use Malacetic in his ears once or twice a week so he has often used to it -
Dry Food Produced By Aussie Guy - Can't Remember
Mason_Gibbs replied to booge's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I don't mind the thread hijack, I'm always looking for something that will help my dogs itches. For him as soon as he's finished a course of antibiotics or cortizone he's straight back to itching. I don't like having him on medication all the time. Have you had allergy tests done? My lab was an itchy scratchy dog until I got him tested and onto desensitization injections, he is so much better now it's unbelievable. The beginning of the year he had some bad hotspots but nothing for 5 months which is a record for him -
I think I am going to give it a go for Gibbs when our bag of puppy food is finished

Yup when Gibbs was really bad I only let him swim no land retrieves and he seemed fine with that. It seems the less he moves around the stiffer he gets ATM, the more he moves the better he is ....

Oh no bad Rosie Mason did similar as a pup with a swan. Gibbs was limp free for over a week, I then let him play with a friends pup last night, he was perfect the entire time, today he is a little stupid when he first gets up, hoping it passes Sposed to say a little stiff!! Dumb ipad

First Time Taking My Gr To A Park
Mason_Gibbs replied to jamesn184's topic in General Dog Discussion
Dogs are living things and therefor have their own minds and therefor no dog will ever have a perfect recall. Wouldn't that depend on what you consider a perfect recall? If my dog recalls every time on the first command within two seconds of me giving the recall command, under any level of distraction I can proof for, I would consider that pretty perfect. Ok Huski your dogs are perfect. My mason is nearly perfect he even has obedience titles but as he is a dog and can disobey me at will ( like if he catches a wiff of dead fish) he will go look before returning to me. No dog is 100 % perfect imo there will be something they find tempting or interesting. -

I agree, goldies are usually not that fearful as well so you may want to look into getting help with that. I would think that it would be fairly normal for puppies to be scared by off leash dogs approaching them. My dogs are well socialised, but off leash dogs approaching them still often make them nervous. None of mine have ever had that problem. ETA i could understand if it was a tiny puppy but its 19 weeks old... Offlead dogs will approach your dog so if you dont want your dog approached its better not to go places where there will be other dogs. Just my opinion. -

Excited Dog - When Getting To Obedience Training
Mason_Gibbs replied to izzydog's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
My lab who is nearly 3 still acts like a fool when we first get own to training, if I have food on me and he knows he will sit and offer focus after the first 10 minutes or so - cant say If it will work for the baby as he is a lot more energetic -
Horty I just love the one of your Joely!!! So adorable!
