My older boy is fed RAW as he has problems tolerating kibble, my pup has been having an upset tummy on kibble lately and each time I feed him the older dogs diet his upset tummy goes away. I'm thinking of feeding him 100% RAW now too but he is only 5,5 months and I worry about him growing properly etc. but in my mind fresh food has to be better for him

I personally think small dogs are worse with kids because the kids can easily intimidate a little dog, i have 2 labs here at the moment one is 5 months old and a 14 month old small dog, i would trust the big dogs more with a child.

Even if I force them back to sleep I'm then awake and can't fall back to sleep so I get up and ave an arvo nap on weekends

Yup no sleep ins at this house either, if I throw them outside once thy awake they wake my neighbors so we just get up

Yes especially of you don let the dogs go far out. My 2 love the beach, at first I kept them off the beach ths summer but then had a re-think as thy love it so much I don't want to deny them

After seeing the news last night I'm inclined to agree with you! It's such a shame that there really is no substitute for a nice beach, no matter how nice a lake or river may be I agree a lake is not the same

I honestly think the sharks have always been there and more hype is just being made about it this year. Car accidents are more likely to happen then shark attacks. I never allow my 2 to swim more than 10m off shore and I've never heard of a problem at Hillary's dog beach. People and dogs swim there all week and there hasn't been a problem reported.

I used my hand blender yesterday but bought a cheapie at Big W today, it was useless taking it back tomorrow!!

I have a training partner that I meet up with on a Monday night. It's sooo helpful, I started training retrieving this year and without someone to help me each step of the way I wouldn't have gotten anywhere!! Mason is now ready for the RATG to be held next year due to the training. We have also managed to pull off our CCD and CD titles this year, granted our novice ring performance was not great but hey we got there in the end!!

Throw an egg in the blender, shell and all and the fruit and veg will be reduced to a fine pulp. That's how I pulp fruit and vegs for the dogs. If it's still a bit chunky, add a little water or stock. I did that and I added in a touch of raw juice

I am wanting to pulp some veg/fruit for my dogs, I used a blender and it chopped it very very fine, is that pulped or do I need to do it for longer so it goes to nothing??
