  1. ST Gibbs loved playing with a young wei at the beach - had a blast
  2. She will outrun Gibbs as he is slow and has no coords as he was not allowed to run as a young pup due to his injury!!
  3. Please don't leave him at home on account of Louis, I want him to meet a range of dogs and there will be plenty of other dogs for Gibbs to play with, so I'm sure Louis won't get all his attention, besides I'm sure Louis will have his focus on Zora Lol Gibbs loved Zora when he met her too. I actually have no Idea what Gibbs will be like if a dog doesnt like him, i expect run a mile as he is a wimp!!
  4. I started Gibbs on the dumbell hold this week, at first he had no clue but I made him think about what I wanted, then clicked treated when he touched dumbell at all and now he will actually pick it up and carry it mighty pleased
  5. Im worried about bringing Gibbs as he can be a pain and bother others into playing, may just bring Mason - or else i may keep Gibbs onlead he has no ears at the beach - but neither does Mason lol
  6. He did have an injury but is almost 100%. I think a lot of the problem is that I had to restrict his land based exercise up until about 2 weeks ago. He mainly did swimming, because of this his water retrieves are enthusiastic but not so much with the land retrieves!!
  7. I have a nearly 3 year old lab - his retrieve instinct is incredible, he cannot NOT retrieve something, took me ages to get him to have a nice hold etc, but now my nearly 6 month old loves holding things in his mouth, carries toys, sticks etc, whatever he can find, but if some thing is thrown he is not as keen to go out and fetch it. He will do it as long as its thrown not too far. Is that pretty normal for his age??
  8. Get a script for Advantan fatty ointment, works the best with mu allergy dog
  9. I only found 1 of Gibbs' teeth but i found a few of Masons. I think they swollow a lot of them
  10. My pup eats mainly chicken with a few other meats like goat or roo but its mainly chicken
  11. Great news. My two see her on saturday for check ups
  12. Can't answer which car park but ST and I will be going on the 8th. Yes I am coming too, was thinking that maybe I can follow you RV?? I don't know Rockingham at all I will likely be driving to ST's and carpooling from there Ok no worries, not entirely sure that i will make it - its a very long drive for us, about 1,5 hrs i think
  13. Can't answer which car park but ST and I will be going on the 8th. Yes I am coming too, was thinking that maybe I can follow you RV?? I don't know Rockingham at all
  14. I saw that advertised RosieFT may give it a go next year
  15. Having a dog with allergies i can honestly say the only thing thats helped him itch wise is his immunotherapy shots, 18 months on and i can see a huge difference in him. Digestion problems iv found can only be helped be working out what causes an issue, sometimes that can change too! Very frustrating but my boy is slowly coming right. Its hard having a puppy now because everytime he scratches i feel paranoid.
  16. I trained my dog with rolled up socks, everytime he picked it up i said good hold and gave a jackpot EVERYTIME!! He couldnt understand at first that i wanted him to have the dumbell held in his mouth. My puppy i have trained the shirley chong way, he got it straight away
  17. I peel mine as you never know whats been sprayed on the skin
  18. My 2 are seeing Deb again on the 7th, Gibbs is not limping but doesn't use that leg 100% the same as the other, I think it's weakened, want to see if acupuncture will help, may also try Bowen for him sometime.
  19. I looked yesterday he has some bloody holes on the top jaw where he had teeth before
  20. My pup gets a lot of chicken my older one can't get chicken so he gets roo and goat and lamb, pup gets some of each but mainly chicken necks etc as bones
  21. Yes from 8 weeks old he has gotten them, he only eats raw meat etc with VAN puppy mix as of the last 4 days
  22. Mirawee I started channel weave training Cider and Strauss on the 13th December - very interesting to see the differences in technique and how quickly they caught on and now how consistent they are. I have been posting clips in the training thread. All 12 weavers are in line and I have now angled the tops out. Tonight I am introducing a jump before the weavers....... I tried 2 x 2 with Cider and I just didn't get it She was more interested in looking at the ball/food/toy I had in my hand than working out what she was supposed to do Had the same problem when i attempted to teach mas to weave he was too focussed on staring at me!!
  23. My puppy is 5,5 month old now, about 4 weeks ago when his back teeth started to fall outt he got a terrible fishy smell to his breathe, he still has it although it is less bad. Is this normal?? When will his teething be over???
