  1. I am going to be a pain and change my mind again.... Will try and get there by 08:30 if I don't get lost
  2. RS all the retrieving people throw toys for their dogs around other dogs with no hassles.
  3. With my Pointer it was raw chicken, from what I can remember. I never mixed proteins in one feeding but did try when he was puking the chicken. He eats lamb, goat, beef and roo with no issues. He also gets the runs from raw chicken, but not chicken natures gift wet. Yup poor Mason cant eat chicken in any form, he can have it as a once off but more than that he gets upset tummy.
  4. And I south, don't know why but I thought Rockingham was about 45 mins from here but actually it's over 80km and gps says an hour 20 mins to get there Probably going to Rockingham tues or we'd so nt keen to do the drive 2x so close.
  5. Imagine buying 5kg, then extending it with water to make around 10kg. Then each day it makes up around 30% of the dogs diet. I mix half roo with half chicken to make it cost effective too. Where I buy the meat chicken mince is a quarter of the price of roo. I do the same for my pup as he is eating over 600g of meat a day at this stage. However the vets all natural lasts my pup and big dog only a month thats a 5kg bag. ETA that's wrong it will last them just under 3 weeks ....
  6. Just had a look at the maps and im not going to come down, its about an 80 min drive both ways for me and i just dont feel for that much driving at this stage. Enjoy
  7. Sometimes their stomach acids need to change the ph level, this happens with my dogs if I don't feed bones for awhile and then feed bones they will both vomit
  8. I find my 2 fart like 2 strokes if they get kibble, pup was fed RC lab junior when he came home and the farts were unbearable!!
  9. I have tried sooo many things for my Mason, he is allergic to wheat, chicken and beef, and corn. Seems to be allergic to processed foods too as I have tried to feed him a range of grain free kibbles and he just cannot tolerate it at all the last attempt ended up in him pooing blood so for us we have to stick to raw. Figured if I'm doing it for one I may just doit for the puppy too.
  10. Oh fair enough! What do you feed your dogs? and weasels - I love that dog roll freaks you out but I cant think of why! haha Mine eat fresh meat and Vets All natural complete mix. I used to make my own veg mix but this is easier

  15. We miss our pointy girl so much, she wasn't much bigger than a whippet, 26" at the shoulder - in fact at an anniversary event for the greyhound rescue we got her from, someone asked if she was a whippet We'll get another pointy dog when we are settled back in the UK I just have to say how pleased I am with the two weasels, my dog walker who comes to let them out for a pee break each day when I at work, is away till the 16th - so far they have both stayed clean indoors every day this week Hummmm, what am I paying the $100 a week for then Sheesh that's not cheap!!!
