  1. Yup had a chat at my dogs derm appointment and the blood test or skin prick test for food wouldn't be an option for us. As a human i've had little success with blood tests for my food allergies, they is how I'm not allergic to seafood yet I react every time I eat it. I would still do an elimination diet along with the bloods and skin prick tests. Just my 2c worth after having a very allergic dog for 3 years
  2. Ibut on the other hand it does suit many, my adult thrives on it :)
  3. My dog had puppy warts at around 18 months old, they went away on their own
  4. Yup i did mix chicken and roo for 4 days
  5. Ok. Our derm does not believe those tests are acurate she doesnt do them. ( for food allergies)
  6. I feed roo from a supplier here in wa - $3:80 a kg, my big dog only eats 300g a day plus van, the roo works out to $30 a month about
  7. Well I switched my pup to roo from chicken on the weekend, not sure if it is the cause but by Monday night his stomach was running - fed cooked chicken and sweet potato for 2 days, normal, fed the roo again last night and by 2am tummy was upset. I'm guessing it's too rich for him
  8. How did they test for food allergies? I thought that wasn't possible?
  9. I also used the leonards monce, we get for $1,50 but ut makes my pupps breath stink and tge adult is allergic to chicken
  10. I buy pet roo meat from a supplier at $3:80 a kg. i feed a lamb bone here and there instead of a meal. Doesnt work out too bad and as soon as pup stops eating me out house and home it willbe cheaper. Question, does roo have enough fat in for a growing pup? I alternate roo and goat at the moment.
  11. My Mason cant get beef or chicken so i try buy what they can both get. I buy from a local pet meat pet place that culls /slaughters their own meat. I see them at the back cutting it up and packaging it so im quite confident it has no preservatives. Supermarket pet meat mEat has a different smell.
  12. I use a lot of roo for my adult dog, I like it as its organic and roo's don't get wormed etc like lamb, beef, horse or goat. When pup is older he will get a lot of too too. At the moment I alternate between roo, lamb and goat for him, was doing chicken too but it made his breathe stink??
  13. Masons brothers family were actually going to come down and BBQ on Aussie day so will see if they are still keen a few days before.

  16. Ok so u sure u dont want to bbq there on oz day? It was just u and us bbq-ing? And then CC, Weasles and ST were just coming to the beach is that right? If no one else wants to bbq i would rather cancel as 55 minutes is a very long drive for just a quick swim
  17. I dont drink on australia day as iv got work the next day. In all honesty if its going to be too busy etc lets just leave it for another day. I found 2 more nice beaches up north so will prob be going to those before i head down to Rockingham anyway.
