  1. Or a phone armband holder like u get for iPhone? Mabe you phone would fit in one of these
  2. RS it seems that the labs like to have a sniff lol coz Mason is very much the same. I think I'm hanging up masons obedience paws for awhile, he doesnt seem to want to work so I can't be bothered trying to make him. It's not only n the ring he has changed he has changed a lot personality wise so I'm just giving him some time.
  3. I just squash my iPhone in my pockets, I take it with as I have fallen over with Gibbs on a number of occasions ( he now wears a gentle leader though) and I'm scared if I really get hurt and can't walk I will lay there for who knows how long. But saying that hope I never crush the phone if I fall coz then it would be useless anyway!!
  4. So spaniels can compete In those trials too? Just asking as I'm after a Clumber spaniel as my next pup :)
  5. Trust your instinct you only get what you pay for IMO!!
  6. Lol Gibbs and Strauss must never meet, dare I say they would encourage each others love of bringing strange objects??
  7. Why did u decide against the retrieving if you don't mind me asking.?? I don't know a lot about field trials what sort of dogs are eligible to compete?
  8. Vetting 6:45-7:15. It's a 7:30 start :) can't help with the orders of events, all I know is that there is obedience tonight and tomorrow :)
  9. I never realised there was a fire down there today, hope it's out quickly, there is one here in Wanneroo too
  10. My Mason is obsessed with the fridge he is always sleeping beside it in case it opens...
  11. I flew my cats from south Africa to Perth... Guess what they never went crazy and it's a much longer flight!!!
  12. Yeah I know of a collie doing agility after the surgery so maybe open is on the cards for Gibbs..... I ruined Mason as a pup tho as its entirely my fault he doesn't want to work.
  13. If Gibbs was sound we would be doing a lot more with his heelwork but obviously we cant. Such a shame as he is so easy to work with - he isnt as smart as Mason but what he lacks in brains he makes up with in enthusiasm :) a great handler could go far with Gibbs
  14. This will robably be the only obedience trial i do with mason for a long long time. I need to work out whats up with him heelwork wise :)
  15. Bit nervous for the classic tomorrow night all the other dogs heel so much better than Mason he is shocking lately and this may be the last obedience trial i do with him. Gibbs is super eager and wants to do it. Mason is really only doing it for the food.
  16. I get bones etc from my local Woolies i use their lamb offcuts.
  17. So so glad Louis just had a skin tag, what a relief :)
  18. Can i just ask is it pick on me day??? Sheesh all i asked was what the prices are etc and why the performance side didnt get the same thats all.
  19. Sigh..... None of us are competing for the prizes we are doing it because we love and enjoy it but it still makes me sad that the performance people and show people get different stuff. And yes I know having the Betsy dog out of 1000's is hard but IMO what performance people do with their dogs is harder. To me to even get to trialling level should entitle you to a prize lol. PS if I come across as a cow this week just ignore me... It's one of those years for me.. Just bad news all round with me and Gibbs health wise.
  20. Why would they complain when they get the better arena and prizes ( not a personal attack on you or any of the show people RV but it's a fact).
  21. Of course I wasn't being selfish guys I was just saying I highly doubt I would win anything, wasn't saying I don't care what the prizes are because I won't get anything. Seems to me showing always gets all the good stuff and I don't see why, besides it being more popular as I think performance people work so so hard with their dogs.
