  1. I enjoy having 2 but it is more time consuming as you need to spend time with each individually. My Mason is my special dog and I dd not know how he would react to having another dog live with us. He was very jello us of Gibbs at first but soon warmed up to him. They love each other so much and they both love thir humans too :) I would say Gibbs has bonded more with my hubby I think, but he does enjoy spending time with me too :)
  2. Hubby fell over Gibbs the other night, no idea how Gbbs survived unscathed lol, cream dog, cream carpet = camoflage lol
  3. 4 weeks of Gubbs being confined today, there is no emoticon to express my pain lol
  4. Midland dog club also train during the week I think. PM me if you need Gina's email addy, and yes she does advice trainers at Northern Suburbs, I'm on the committee there :)
  5. If ur dog is allergic to grass pollens its breathed in and it won't help to rip up your lawn unless it's a contact allergy. My boys skin goes pink when he is bad ( touch wood it hasn't happened in months) and he has atopic dermatitis ( the breathe in kind) and food allergies. He doesn't have contact allergies
  6. I use 5 capsules of EPO for my dog who weighs 33kgs a day. Dermatologist told me to start using them 20 months go. My dog s still alive and well lol. I suggest never letting your dog eat anything with wheat, corn or preservatives. Weekly bathes in QV wash help my allergy dog too. I would seriously borrow the money and see a dermatologist. PS everything to do with allergies is lifelong. What antihistamines have you tried? My dog takes 2 Zyrtec ( I use the geneic Zep Allergy) morning and 2 at night.
  7. Lol yes i saw Gibbs rd thats the exit i take to get to Debs place now that she moved from Shelley :) didnt see Mason Rd though...
  8. Mason vomited 2x before we left the beach. Another lady we met at the tap said the ship had just dumped their toilet waste into the water. It was washing up onto the beach apparently. I saw a dugite just after u left i was walking back onto the beach from filling our water bottle and it slithered into the path and then made a quick get away again. Was a baby one.
  9. I have had my boys thyroid checked :) really worth doing if u have a dog with allergies
  10. My dog has severe allergies, i know what triggers hotspots in him. When the hotspot has a lot of bacteria in it curash isnt strong enough
  11. I found colloidal silverand Curash useless for hotspots. I shave, clean with chlorohex, let dry, apply Bactroban.
  12. Oh dear it looks as if our beach meets always fizzle out lol. Oh well I'm still going

Arthur River is a bit far away! Upper Swan is much more do-able, but I think our weekend is already full There is another one on 22April at Upper Swan and a retrieving test the following weekend at the same site
  14. I only have experiences with puppy teeth abscessing but he had both removed at the time of the abscess :)
