I am not sure what time it starts but I guess I will be there around 6ish?? Tiggy happy to hold onto yours until the 7th, unless you want me to give it to one of the others who live closer to you. Amypie - yee har you will be able to put sides on your gazebo Red dogs at the Rally Demo - I would like to see that . Yep the orbee toys are great , I haven't tried the frisbee but Banjo's favourite toy is the orbee ball on the rope. Will give it a go, Mason is not destructive but my mate wants one for Masons best bud Phoebe and she does break toys.

I was bored to death in West Side Story... RS I wanted to see Boy From Oz with the judge from So you think you can dance!! Never came to Perth tho.. ETD are we doing an xmas dinner or bbq this year?

When my lab was fed dry kibble he also got 1,5 cups a day plus some meat or sardines/eggs etc. With labs it looks like you are feeding them so little as they are big dogs but they pick up weight really quickly. My dog is so fit that the vets cannot believe his heart rate but I still feed him next to nothing and he is still not that skinny

Oh you poor poppet That's so not fair for you and no one would ever flame you for doing the right thing. Monday will be especially hard for you. I am working until 12 on monday but if you need anyone to go with you to the airport for support etc just shout

Psuedomonis In Lab And Ear Canal Widening Op
Mason_Gibbs replied to mollymoomoo's topic in General Dog Discussion
I always thought my dog did not have food allergies but when we did the elimination diet with the dermatologist ( roo and sweet potato for 6 weeks only) we found that he is allergic to yeast, gluten, chicken, turkey and beef. He basically lives on roo, goat and lamb, with some sardines and eggs. He can also have pumpkin and sweet potatoes and some other veg. Since we have been on food that he is not allergic to his ears are a lot better than before, he used to cry and scratch his ears but he hardly does it anymore. -
No rush, most of mine Mason is only getting for xmas anyway ....

He is amazing isnt he LR, so glad you went I owe him so much for my dogs! It was a great visit WX. Reassured me that my poor girl isnt quite as psycho as I thought!!! But when it gets down to it, I believe I am the cause of all her dramas!!! Now I just have to get to it and do the training!! Have started by WALKING her - and I need to keep it up, for her and me LOL!! Have been for two beautiful long walks after work today and yesterday!! Almost dark when I get back, and there are lots of roos on the way, but I think all three of us enjoyed it! Is Zola the ridgeback? My 2 ridgies who still live with my mum ( they have never left her house lol, got them when I was still in school) they are the most anxious/scared dogs I have ever met. And I dont know why .

Psuedomonis In Lab And Ear Canal Widening Op
Mason_Gibbs replied to mollymoomoo's topic in General Dog Discussion
HI there, I take my dog to a dermatologist who specializes in ears and skin, I was wondering if your dog has seen a specialist? Not saying that your vet has misdiagnosed etc but sometimes the specialists pic things up or have suggestions that the vets dont think of. My lab has a lot of ear probs due to allergies. -
My friend and I were fooling around making up and order for the dogs Clean Run xmas goodies - 3 of us are splitting postage and by mistake I pressed send had to email them and say please dont send as we may be adding goodies to it as the 3rd lady was not here this morning to choose other stuff Poor Clean Run....

I think all of us did It might have been a good thing that we did wag since I hear 2 cars were broken into and things stolen - so just a reminder - lock your cars when at K9. Also 2 agility dogs back from the Susan Garrett seminar in NSW are at Murdoch with tick bites :p Fingers crossed they are both OK. Did you wag too, Ptolomy? Stupid thieves ;) All this talk of ticks and stuff makes me too scared to move away from Perth, even though I've considered in on numerous occasions! Like last night again ;) Where do you want to move too??

Poor pups - hope they get well soon, what symptoms do the tick bites give? Being from africa I have no idea about all the diseases here in oz. Dogs and horses in RSA get billary from tick bites there. The region we came from was rampant with it as there were loads of ticks, lucky for me none of my horses or dog picked it up. Horses and dogs who test positive for the disease being in their blood are not allowed to be exported.

Using Human Antihistamines For 6 Month Staffy
Mason_Gibbs replied to 2staffys's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
It could be that the dose you are using is not strong enough, was the dosage rate worked out for you by the vet? Dogs take a way bigger dose than humans, my lab who weighs 34Kg, takes 2 Zyrtec morning and 2 again in the evening when he is bad - human dose = 1 tablet in 24hrs. I would get a vet or dermatologist to work out the dosage for you if you have not already. Saying that we tried Polaramine first and that did absolutely nothing for my dog at all. -
Dog Terrified Of Tv Switching On
Mason_Gibbs replied to samoyedman's topic in General Dog Discussion
Our smoke alarm is very sensitive, its usually disconnected but we put it back the other day, it went off and my dog was terrified, he was frozen to the spot for an hour shivering and shaking. It was when I was using the oven. 3,5 weeks later my dog will still not be inside when I now use the oven - he associated the oven with the noise. They are so aware of things around them. -
Runs like one too lol!! Love the way pups run...

Lol - so cute, I am feeling really bad the last few days about Mason being an only dog, he needs someone to wrestle with too!! And I think he is way too spoiled by OH and I because he gets all our attention Jenna is still spoilt, and I'm the only one big enough in this household to wrestle with her which I do. My OH wrestles with Mason
