I have just the clicker for you, I got a new one with my Clean Run order and I think its too soft!! It hardly makes a noise, I actually meant to post a thing in training thread about it but I forgot - can a clicker be too soft?? I stopped the clicker after that one click and switched to a marker word but it's ingrained now... silly dog with an awesome memory I use both with Mason, I use the marker word in class and when he knows something but then I use the clicker to teach new stuff :p

Yeah some company would be good, I am not 100% sure where in the park the birds are but I believe they are so tame that they will come and sit on your hand if you have food my lenses should also arrive this week but OH is being mean and is making me wait until xmas day to open them and my photoshop so I am stuck with just my 18-55mm lens!! Great shots of the Carnaby's!!! We have them flying over the pine forrest here by us but they dont come visit in our yard! ETA there is also a cemetary up near Joondalup called Pinaroo memorial park, loads of Kangaroo's to photograph there so I may do Neil Hawkins and then stop in at the cemetery on my way home ;)

Tell Me Where You Buy Your Gear. Time For A New Toy :)

There was a review of it in some mag I was flicking through and the only negative thing the photographer had to say about it was "I don't have one in my kit bag". I needed it asap so I knew they would get it to me within the week, they are that good with service. However, now my husband has had a car accident and stuffed his back for a while, we have to postpone our trip for a while so it's not going to get wet for a little while yet. A friend of mine got one to take on her honeymoon in Oct to Maldives and she loves it! -

* Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di VC USD - I like photographing birds so wanted a bit more than a 200mm zoom. * Tamron SP AF 60mm F/2.0 Di II LD (IF) 1:1 Macro - I like bugs ;) * Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM - 'cause I don't have a 50mm lens OH has said this is xmas and next birthday pressies combined I'm hoping by next May (my b'day) she will have forgotten this and I can wrangle a wider lens, as it will still be the kit lens for anything under 50mm for a while ;) And my Lightroom trial ends in 2 weeks.....next years xmas pressie early? Awww you lucky fish, I have a canon 50m f/1.8 on the way as I need one for my assignment and then the other kit lens canon 50-250mm, w2e will have to meet up and do some photo walks etc with our new lenses ;) And I have Photoshop CS5 under the tree just waiting for me to open it..... I was really lucky as I am studying so I got it at a really good price. -
Crazy Cresties did you go take pics at the polo yesterday??? I am dying to get out this week with my camera, I believe there are really tame parrots in Neil Hawkins park Joondalup and I want to try head off there on thurs morning this week if I get a chance to get some shots, have not used my camera now in 2 weekends and I am getting withdrawls!!!

Rosie FT I got a short lead on its own at City Farmers. Works out quite well as my short lead and my log lead are black and so is the new bling collar it all matches now.

I knew the no tags for agility, but then I was told that tags were not allowed in the obedience ring! I prefer them off as well, they jingle too much (and because I used to remove them for obedience, I ended up losing my tags!!!) Anyway once I forgot to take them off and the judge told me they aren't allowed but just this once they can make an exception, just remember for next time as the next judge might not be so leanient. I was shocked, I didn't recall reading it was an obedience rule! Plus, if it really was a rule, then they shouldn't have made the exception ;) Yes I am sure I remember you telling me the story before which is why I always thought that it was a rule that you must not let your dog wear tags in the ring... I will keep the black bling tag free

I know, I am getting 2 lenses for xmas, I bought one from Top Buy and one from Crazy Sales, they were much cheaper than retail stores ;) -
Cape Town is well worth the trip, think it would be less than an hours flight to Cape Town, the mountain is awesome and Hout Bay is also lovely as well as Hermanus. Very scenic and lovely. My favorite part of south africa, although I dont know it that well as I am from the east coast and that is west coast but I have been there a few times and loved it. A friend of mine had divorced parents and I once spent the summer hols in Hout Bay with her and her dad. Port Elizabeth is smaller than Cape Town and I must admit I have only spent one day there so I dont know much about what there is to see and do there. Not sure what game reserves are near there? The big one in South Africa is Kruger but that is in another state.

Yes, think I may keep this one for when we compete I consider spending around $100 for a collar and lead set for the dogs expensive! From the site Ptolomy posted, it would cost $140 and not even including postage, for 2 collar/lead sets, crazy!!!! Why do you think the poor sods have had the same set for goodness knows how long :D (That and I am a fussy bugger when it comes to getting things to match!) My dogs aren't princesses, they only think they are, so no crystal collars for them :p From the website you posted though it is only around $100 for both sets then I can't imagine postage would be that huge... maybe another $25 since they aren't bulky items. That can be the dogs' Christmas present $100 for a bit of fabric that go around their necks on the rare occasion is expensive to me. I mustn't be making the big bucks like you folk it seems :D Edit: I can't be the only one who thinks the prices of collars and leads are a bit excessive? :p

Oh actually said that Masons collar looks really nice Bedazzled I am sorry now that I am not coming down - would love to see him wearing it. Remind me again if dogs cant wear tags in the obedience ring or agility ring?? I consider spending around $100 for a collar and lead set for the dogs expensive! Here are 2 pics, my model was not very cooperative this arvo though... For some reason the flash is making it look greyer than it is, it is black will get better natural light shots when Mason wakes up and moves around
