Gibbs won't be quiet tho he will whine and whine coz he wants a turn lol

It is up to the judge on the day to say whether dogs may be allowed in the gallery or not. Depends whether it is close to the control area and may distract the competing dog or not, and also, any dogs in the spectator gallery must be quiet or you will be asked to leave. Quite often spectators can have their dogs with them but be set back a little way from the main group, but still see the run and expose their dog to the sounds and smells of retrieving. I wouldn't trust Gibbs in the gallery he is a distraction waiting to happen lol.

I have no idea Emery but I won't be able to get close to the gun anyway as obviously no dogs allowed n the gallery near the competing dog so that probably won't help you much I'm going to take my 2 to as many training days as possible this year for the gun

Is It Acceptable To Leave Dog Stools On The Footpath?
Mason_Gibbs replied to ChloeEastwood's topic in General Dog Discussion
We have a lady who walks her dog on the footpath at the park over the road, her go always goes on the path AND SHE NEVER CLEANS UP!!! It really really bugs me, next time I see her I'm gonna have to say something as it means me and my dogs have to avoid the landmines! And the dog doesn't stop and go it will drop a piece a meter for 20 meters!!! Annoying -
I may bring Gibbs down on Anzac day as its out at Brookleugh and he can hear the gun and its all flat ground for him

My dog with allergies does the best on roo with Ves all natural mix. Roo is the best free range meat you can get IMO.

Great stuff RS! So glad you got so many positives out of the day too :D See, it's not that scary after all!! Well, it's still scary, but a heck of a lot of fun, too!! :) I will do once we are both more comfy with birds and the gun. Mason hasn't had the gun fired over him before he has just heard the rifles on the farm which he wasn't happy with but they were very loud! You'll get your chance with the gun on the 29th Ruby hadn't heard the gun nor been shot over for about a year, and she was all good. The first time Ruby heard the gun close up, someone was shooting it for me behind us. She took off prematurely as she was startled by the gun, but from the second shot on, no worries :) Millie actually did the same thing, but a) she is scared of loud noises and b) she tends to break anyway  I am going to bring both girls to the training day and try Millie with the gun again. Not that she needs it for the RATG, but I don't want to be training her any differently to Ruby just because she doesn't have the right kind of papers! :p Yeah for sure, I'm hoping Gibbs has the all clear as I would like him to come along on the 29th to hear the gun but it is a very steep hill to walk down so I'm not sure if he will be attending or not and hubby is working so can't just carry him down lol. Not too worried about going up but down could be an issue. -
 A very appropriate miss-spell I think!!! Darn auto correct!!!

My dog also battled to see where the dummy landed but since the RATG we have practiced with a bumper x2 and it's really helped :) -

Lots of people have mixed feelings about tug with gundogs, imo they know what a bird is and they know what a rope is and they dont confuse the 2. -

Oh gosh I could never do 3 trials in one day lol. My dog had not had a lot Of practice with the thrower and he totally missed the second mark
