  1. Great shots! We could not afford a pro photographer when we got married and so hubbies nephews best mate worked in advertising and he was pretty good with a camera and got some lovely shots, I am forever grateful to him ( we gave him what we could afford as a token of appreciation and he was so surprised). My wedding photos are not at all staged or posed etc and got some great shots. My dad who is a keen on photography as a hobby took some great shots too!
  2. Ok, who else is battling with the heat/humidity in Perth today??
  3. Shell love your pic of the lady at night - just awesome!!! Must say I am quite impressed with my 450D, I only had a P & S before and the difference is amazing!
  4. My 3 faves.... was so hard to choose though.
  5. The joys of being poor ;) but the time clock keeps ticking away and its this year or never. It pesky neighbours hadn't been a pain I would have kept a Brookie baby, there were two girls I particularly fancied in that litter. He does make lovely babies, even if Jenna can be a difficult little B to mate. I liked them all - couldnt pick a favorite! Must say I like bobtails, its unusual.
  6. Yes they were Brookies babies - so adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!! Abbey puppies should arrive in August ;) If you get one of hers I won't be astempted to get one Probabaly befor then as she will be in heat in April, same as Jen. What's wrong with a Jenna baby?????? Thats if I can keep the money in the bank long enough to send her away for breeding and I can be parted from her for it to happen. Mmmmm, might never happen but I so want a Jenna baby before she is too old. I would love a Jenna baby, the pups she had before were so cute, saw all their pics on facebook!
  7. I use a normal collar and leash to walk my dog - his is a bit of a puller still at 20 months but he is growing out of it slowly.

  9. Not sure ST will see this so I will answer and end the suspense. ;) ST's sisters husband is moving there for work. oSoSwift- great news about Rommi. In Toby news - his session went really well and the behavuorist thinks he shows a lot of promise. He is a bit of a loser at 'how to speak dog' if you will, but thats what happens when you miss critical socialization periods cause you are in a cast. ;) I am glad Toby is improving Are you taking any leave over xmas and New Year Valley? If so we must meet up and so some training sometime seeing as I dont have class and there is no monday nights for you Well I only work every second week so I have off the 26th to the 1st and then the 9th to the 15th. PM me when/where suits you I will bring my Rally signs ;) I am off now until 17 Jan so I am pretty much easy on days etc - Tuesdays are usually our playdates with Phoebe but any other day is good ;)
  10. Not sure ST will see this so I will answer and end the suspense. :D ST's sisters husband is moving there for work. :p oSoSwift- great news about Rommi. 12. I think I may not get another dog for awhile, I dont want to change our dynamic at the moment, Mason loves working for me and getting attention but if i get another dog he wont be interested in me I dont think - and then I will just be upset.
  13. come help me fill the shelves all i am getting is complaints about us doing it whilst shop is open and the loads are excessively large They were busy packing shelves at Woolies today while we were shopping, shop was crazy busy!
  14. I took my dog to pup school when he came home and at our club they go into obedience class at around 16 weeks - my dog is 20 months old and I still attend obedience class once a week and we train for a short period daily.
  15. Lol Mason does better 'dressage' than my old horse ever could My horse just used to get to strange surroundings and freak out where Mason copes fairly well with new places and people.
  16. Yes that's a game we play :D It's a game we play at my house, too. Today, they dug a hole deep enough they could almost reach China. I filled it in best I could (half the dirt disappears to nowhere so I don't have enough to fill it back in!) and tomorrow and Thursday they are going to mum and dad's so I don't have to play fill the hole until after Christmas lunch at my place :D Not hard in your hard, all you have is dirt!! ;) Even less of a challenge given the size of Kyzer and Trixie :D I think they could comfortably together in a hole that would only fit one of our dogs RS Whoops, noticed I typed "hard" instead of "yard" earlier, but I'm sure you all know what I meant :D The hole my dogs (Millie) dug today could have buried Trixie and Kyzer alive Do you put poop in the holes before you fill them in??? Seemed to work for my ridgies - Mason is not much of a digger.
  17. I have a lab, he greets other dogs and has a sniff, he does not body slam or play roughly with other dogs ( he will only do the wrestling thing with his best mate, another lab). I think many people who know him will agree that he is very well mannered and knows his size. Not all labs are evil creatures risen from the depths of hell. There are good and bad examples of every breed out there. Labs always get the bad end of the stick, my lab has been attacked 2x on lead by German Shepherds but I dont generalize and say that all GSD's are aggressive. He has also been chased by 5 chihuahua's but I dont post every 5 minutes about how rude and yappy that breed can be.
  18. Resizing in Irfranview and uploading to Photobucket - think i must resize in Photoshop rather...
  19. Ponies sound too much like hard work Happy Birthday, Ptolomy!! So what pressies did you get? Another puppy? I must say horses are a lot of work, I think thats why I have picked up weight the last 2 years, even though I could not ride my old man much, the grooming, feeding etc is all a bit of a workout
  20. ;) You watch - next year I will be 32 ;) Thanks for the birthday wishes. The red kids woke me up at 4.50am to tell me it was breakfast time - er birthday time. Lol, have a super day - I turned 21 this year..... for like the 9th time :p
  21. Great pics CC!!!! My Canon 50mm 1.8 arrived today, wrapped and under the tree for xmas
  22. Here are mine... Dont Touch High I must find a different way to resize my images, dont like how the quality is affected
  23. Well 2 of us thought you meant something different..... anyhow I am not about to get into a slinging match. Aussielover PM me if you have any questions, sounds like what we went through when Mason was that age.
  24. I have to agree with Mason... My boy has severe atopic dermatitis and proven allergies (shown on intradermal skin test and blood test) to several environmental allergens and NO anti-histamines have ever worked for him. Unfortunately Jedi does have recurrent staph infected folliculitis, so is now on life-long pulse therapy antibiotics and that is keeping him comfortable. I really feel for dogs with an itchy skin condition (whatever the cause) - so I really hope you find some answers soon so you can start the appropriate treatment. ETA - JulesP - I think there must have been some confusion with your reply to Mason -- Mason was saying that it is not strictly true that anti-histamines work on every dog with allergies and you replied "actually it is strictly true". Mason was not questioning the staph part of your comment (in my eyes) -- your comment saying anti-histamines do not work for Staph infections was correct and I don't believe Mason was challenging that. Yip - this is indeed what I thought you meant JulesP, maybe you should have just worded it a bit differently?
