My new year resolutions are to lose 5kg, save money and compete in a proper obedience trail with Mason

Ok, sounds like a plan......I haven't been on a train here yet - about time I did I guess Trains are good, I had not caught a train in RSA but here I dont mind. I wont do it late at night on my own though but i am probably being paranoid...
-
Poor little doggy, hope he finds his owners soon CC. CC we can still make a plan to meet to do our photography, how far are you from a train station? Wherever we want to go and take pics I can just pick you up from the nearest station, we can make a plan

Yes even tho hOrses love their humans they need the company of other horses. They really do miss horsey company. I agisted at this place once where my horse was in a paddock on his own, he got so sad that i ended up moving him elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about your horse fetchingdogs!! Laptop is out of order so on my mobile for now.

Oh the poor thing - I feel so sorry for it and I did not even see it

I meant to send you a message, there is a water feature near my house with water flowing down rocks, it would be good practice for pics with slow shutter speeds :D

Ruby's breeder told me her and the lab people friends of hers don't really do the NYE show anymore, they prefer to have their own party, so there goes a load of entries! I may head down and join you guys, got no other plans! How about the 2nd? Might be doing family BBQ on the 1st. 2nd is good for me...

I still take Mason out when its hot but I go early and where there is water so he can swim. Can do lunch though, just let me know when etc.

Trouble is allergy dogs react badly to brushing, it makes them itch even more. He is a lab so he does have undercoat but not much.. My dog is allergic to chicken, beef, wheat, gluten etc so he is on a diet of goat, roo, lamb and veg.
-
Thanks Dyzney he is on Antihistamines and prednisolone permanently at the moment. I am suspecting it is because of the very hot, humid days we had here awhile ago as he is in and out the pool the entire day.. I feel bad not letting him swim tho as its close to 40 degrees.

My allergy dog has hotspots at the moment, I am trying the bicarb for the first time...
-
Unfortunately we cannot avoid pollen, insects and mites they are everywhere but we do try.
-
Yes our place is a mess !! Leaves and dust everywhere.
-
My allergy boy gets this when he eats a food that he is allergic too and it upsets his tummy. For him beef and chicken do it.
-
I have an allergy dog and he gets hotspots now and then, at the moment he has plenty - i know what to do to treat them but what I would like to do is prevent them if possible. Anyone got any tips??
-
Thanks Lablady I will give it a go, I hate using a high ISO as my images come out extremely noisey , does your 450D do the same?
-
I got one of these lenses yesterday as a gift and I must say I am battling to focus with it - is that normal??
-
Merry christmas everyone!!! It is so hot, Mason is already swimming.
-
Woo Hoo Merry Christmas to you I just saw a nice chilled cider in the fridge and wondered if it was a tad too early :D Nope - not to early at all

Not any more! Been to the river, worn the fetch junkie out and am now home, had a shower, aircon on, getting ready to meet friends for brunch ..... I have to go brave Midland Gate at 13h00 to collect my new phone.... my pup is struggling in the heat - all he wants to do is lay in his pool
