Yep Washa - will definitely be there Friday night and Saturday if I can con someone into swapping shifts for me. Otherwise I have to head back early as its day shift for me Sunday. Was gonna email you and see if I/we can get a bed I really, really wanna stay for the Saturday show so I can see the new Kelpie pup (another boy to compete with Banjo!!) Looking forward to seeing Rijbiz's new baby girl too on Friday night!! Rijbiz's new girl looks so sweet

I knew basically nothing about dogs before I joined DOL and I learned a lot about registered breeders etc.

Ok it may seem a daft question but how do you cue the halt?? Not daft at all :rolleyes: I'm not sure what others do but I slow ever so slightly and bring my left foot up to meet my right foot. Thanks I do slow down a bit but I need to think of other things to give him clues I am in a practice trial tomorrow night so will bear this in mind

There were lots of kids on the play equipment and some workmen whipper snippering but no other dogs came near us When we were leaving we did see a kelpie at the top part. I find in the middle of the day on a weekday is pretty good for getting it empty... or the middle of the day when it is over 40 degrees. Yes its usually empty at this time

Banjo was a happy boy yesterday ;) After Abbey jumping him and OzJen's foot he thought the Lab girls were pretty special, and is always up for some fun with Trixie He was shaking his head occasionally though so I definitely think his ears need checking on Friday. Oh and this heat is bad! I had a headache after feeding the ponies last night which is why I needed to cool down ;) I would love the summer length of day with low to mid 20s please If its not a grass seed it could be a wax plug, mason had one and milo's ear cleaner dissolved it after one application.

you can clean my house i keep looking at it going oh do i have too :D Thats kind of why I gave it up as after cleaning other peoples houses I just cannot face doing my own !!!

Yes I must admit my male lab I think would be a bit big for agility - not that I have tried it much with him, he can jump and he is quick but I think he would be clumsy.

Yeah i am like that too, mason is so special that i hope the new puppy can live up to my expectations. The viszla i know is quite in other dogs faces tho and he always takes masons toys but maybe its because he just wants mas go chase him. Lovely dogs though i must say and the owner put in min effort for training and dog is as obedient as and he will only be 3 this year. He is also good with their toddler.

Mason would be the type of dog Toby could live with, he backs of with just a warning and tends to pick up signals on when to give a dog space and mind his own business. Not all labs are like that though, I know. ETA there is a Vizsla across the road that Mason plays with some mornings, he is a lovely dog, very active when out but his owner tells me that at home he is as relaxed and calm as anything, he is a lovely dog and is very very obedient too.

There are dog clubs all over Perth, we need to know what suburb you live in to point you in the right direction.

I dont know about playing, have a feeling that Ruby and Millie may not be happy about him being there plus he cant play at the moment with his huge back sore

For my membership do I need to go and hand my form in to the office or do I post it? I had a look at the fees and I am very confused :D

What time does it start on fri night? I may come down really early, have a go in the ring and leave at 8 or so when its just getting dark.

No the problem is he is on nighshift this week, he has asked for fri as leave but there are only 4 guys on shift at the moment so they may not say yes and he only finds out on thurs..... Thanks for the offer but Mason would not settle to sleep at your place I dont think knowing that your dogs are there, plus he would have to sleep in the room with me or he will be a pain! I feel really bad now as I invited these people to come down and I must now telll them their dog is not allowed, they were looking so forward to walking him around there etc, he just finished his needles! Mason is welcome to sleep in the house :D Lol I think he should be made to sleep outside!!!!!!!!!!!!
